SPOILERS!
Okay, 2 things.
1st of all, a little note, does anyone know if there's a specific reason why L cleaned Light's feet? I mean, I get that it was a Jesus reference, but I don't see how it connected other than the "atoning for Sin".
2nd, the main reason for creating this thread...
Does anyone else think Rem made a stupid mistake?
She killed L and Watari because they were going to capture and kill Misa if she didn't.
...Why didn't she kill Light too?
If I were her, I would have killed Watari, Light, and L, I mean I don't see any reason why she didn't. She knows that Light constructed the ENTIRE thing, he's the reason why Misa almost got caught AGAIN, is there any reason why she couldn't have killed him as well?
Last part, just a bit of a statement that I want to get off my chest, Light is officially my most hated and loved character ever >.> If I ignored everything in the entire series that he did, I can't forgive him for smirking as L died >.> That was just too cruel given how important Light had become to L, he could have at least waited till he was alone or something.
Anyways, thoughts?

Jeax If I were her, I would have killed Watari, Light, and L, I i think rem didn't kill light because she wanted misa to be happy. if light dies, misa would probably commit suicide. Quote: I can't forgive him for smirking as L died agree, i hate him so much during that moment. i feel like throwing my pc when i watch that scene because i really wanna crush his face at that time. scream

1. im kinda trying to figure that out myself
2. rem killed L and watari for misa's sake, if she killed light to misa wont be "happy" about it where she referrs to die herself for light to live.. though probably rem died the moment she wrote L's name, i dont think she had time to write light's name later
3. i hated light, and that scene made me even hate him more.. I smirked when he died mwahahaha >.<

1) I think he did it because he knew Light was going to kill him.
2) Everyone else has said it. xD; Misa would have just killed herself if Light died. But I'll stop there.
3) He wanted L to know that he was Kira. Remember Raye Penbahh and Naomi Misora? Light is very childish and proud. What better way to show that than with an "I just ate a busload of children" smirk? ;D

I figured that she let him live because "Misa + Light = Happy", but by then, Rem should have realized that as long as Light lived, Misa would always be in danger >.> Taking the chance of Misa being suicidal would have been better than KNOWING she would probably die in Light's care >.>
It was so unfair though! GAH, I can't stop thinking about it >.<
I mean, L was reliving his entire life during that episode, he kept hearing a death toll, he even tried to remedy some bad blood between himself and Light, you could TELL how depressed he was in that episode >.>
Add to the fact of how much Light meant to L, plus WATARI, the guy L depended on more than Mother/Father/Grandmother/Grandfather COMBINED had just died, you could hear how terrified he was when he was calling out his name!
The entire guy's life just went from bad to ungodly horrible in less than a minute, and Light oculdn't muster up enough sympathy to wait 10 seconds to smile >.>
Bah v_v
I'm so glad he dies >.> lol

Misa would want to kill herself ya but with watari L and Light dead her suspision of being the second kira would be stonger and the team would take her down.
