Currin glanced over her shoulder at him. She paused for a moment before considering what he said. There were several ways she could sneak him out, none of them would be pleasurable for him, but she could do it. She weighed the consequences. He was the lord of the castle, but she couldn't get him out of the aftermath, just the current math. She continued her job as she thought about it. The process became slower as she contemplated how exactly each thing would unfold. After an idea was full proof, she spoke over her shoulder at the lord. "I could get you out of the castle M'lord, and in a disguise that would not reveal you as yourself, but I cannot excuse you from the event through means which would exempt you from ridicule for not showing up." It was the most she could offer. She wouldn't tell him that she could create something that looked like his death thus he wouldn't have to go. She couldn't even fake the death of a close friend so he wouldn't have to go. He would just have to put up with the consequences. "Can you protect me from loosing my job if I get you out of the castle?"

The young lord looked at the maid upside down on the bed, his eyebrows rose. "You'd help me get out of here?" Some place that wasn't in the castle and he wasn't surrounded by guards? He was a little disappointed she couldn't get him out of the ball entirely but... still it was better than nothing. He hadn't been out of the castle grounds since the last time he had to go to a ball. Even if he couldn't get out of the one that was coming up quickly, if he could at least get outside once and a while maybe his restlessness would calm down. His hair fell down around his head in the childish pose and he took a breath before sitting straight up and facing the little maid. "Of course I could protect you from losing your job. All I've gotta say is that I seduced you." He said the comment airily. He had seduced enough maids to get what he wanted. It was hardly their fault that he did it, and because he was male his parents found it highly amusing that their son was 'getting around'... they only wished that he would 'get around' with some proper ladies now instead of frolicking among the maids. "But you've gotta take me someplace fun."

"Yes M'lord." She turned back to her clothes finishing up quickly enough. When she was done she started to gather the dirty clothes. After gathering about a full load she turned to him and paused in what she was doing. "I'm going to go get the next load of clothes and bring you a uniform for the guard. We'll be leaving to buy some soaps from the market and you're going to be my escort. They have hats so just keep your head down and I'll help you with your hair so that they won't recognize it. Your name will be Admiral Harrison. He's new and not many have met him yet. If we need to change your name I'll introduce you." With that she gathered the rest of the clothes in the cart and headed out to grab the clothes. When she got to the water hole most of the girls there were so absorbed in themselves they didn't notice when she pulled down the extra set of clothes first. She began to hang her stuff from before to make them forget and then grabbed the rest of his clothes putting them on top. She hurried back to the room with her normal quick pace. When she reached the room she had a tin of bobby pins with her as well as the clothes. She went over to the bed and pulled out the uniform. "Do you know how to put this on?" She asked. There were some funny things about it such as the tie and clasping system for the shirt.

He grinned as she matter-of-factly went about what she was saying. Boy she was such a prim little maid, he wouldn't half-mind teaching her how to have a little fun--which he meant in a purely fun way. Running around, playing tag, hide-and-go-seek. He wondered to himself while she was away what the probability would be that his family would allow him to make her his personal maid, maybe even a little higher than that, and someone who would stay with him at all hours so he could force her to have fun with him. And if she was getting him out of here, the fact that he wanted her with him just escalated. All the other maids were too afraid of his father's wrath to even attempt to think about gettng him out. They offered him fun in the castle, preferably in his own bedroom, but those maids got boring after a while. Only interested in one thing, only good for that one thing besides cleaning. But this? This would be interesting. He sat on the bed, his elbows on his knees as he mused over this new arrangement and came up with all kinds of fun ideas for them to do if he could keep her as his and his alone. Yes, it would work out perfectly if he could do that.
When she came back in he looked up, eyes lighting up at the costume that she pulled out for him. Jumping from the bed, he took it from her and inspected it. He had seen the guards walking around in this all the time, and he loved the gold trim and the silver buckles and the interesting designs that designated them to his castle. At her question, the young lord turned to her cheerful and replied with a broad smile, "Nope! Can you put it on me?"

Currin's cheeks didn't even flush as she took the clothes back and began to undo them completely ignorant of what this would mean to other people. She knew her lord wore at least an undershirt so it wouldn't be at all embarrassing to the woman to put him in the over shirt. She finished undoing the shirt and unzipped the pants to the uniform then getting to the tricky part. She carefully undid the cuffs of the sleeve and unpinned the bottom of the shirt holding it out to him. "Please put this on as you would a normal shirt when you go to change." She unclasped the pants and the belt holding the pants out to him as well. "Please put this on as you would your pants." She hoped that he wasn't going to make her undress him completely then redress him like a doll. Rich people could be so crude when it came to their bodies. They loved to show them off and it really irritated her to an undeniable extent. She watched the young lord with no intention of actually dressing him but this was close enough. When he came back from his bathroom or where ever he decided to dress then she would put the finishing touches on. She wasn't quite sure why he wasn't willing to just explore the outfit to figure it out for himself. Such prudish people.
