I was wondering what is a good brand for a beginner tenor sax. I saw one deal at a music store near where I live and it was $850 for a Selmer PreludeTS700 Tenor Sax and I wasn't sure if it was a good deal or not. I could really use your help thank you. biggrin

I have a student model Yamaha, its really good for me, and I'm really good, so you will be able to use it forever, depending on how long you continue your musical career.

i have a selmer it's been really good to me and i've had it for 3 years... so i'd go with the selmer
