They have to sell CDs somehow and guys with girl troubles are a good portion of buyers.
Who wants to hear MCR, Panic at the disco, or the all american rejects sing about how their life is perfect and they have not troubles.

Eh, I listen to Irish, techno, and random weird stuff mostly. You don't hear a whole lot of Celtic music saying:I not gettin the girl
So I might as well hang the potatoes
