ok, so my gf and i just started going out. a couple of our friends don't even know that we're gay, so i told her if it was ok with her to keep it a secret, i would. well, today, she called me all excitedly (cuz we are both so happy and stuff and it sucks to keep it a secret!) to ask if she could tell one of our best friends. i told her it was ok, cuz i had been wanting to as well. well, one of my other friends walked into me and told me to go find my gf with her, cuz she wanted to tell her something and didn't wanna go alone. so i walked around the school, and when i found them, i was just in time to watch as my friend walked away from my gf. so i ran over to ask what happened, and it turned out that my friend is pissed because she didn't know my gf was bi (she knew about me) and she was shocked we were going out.
idk, that's pretty lame though. and then my friend just called me but had to hang up before we could talk. and i dunno if i should worry about my friend and my gf not being friends or if they'll get over it, but for the time being, i'm appalled at my friend's reaction. can't she just be happy that we are? i mean, we've liked each other for some time. can't she get over her problem? ugh. i don't get some people...

It is like a balloon popping to them as I would see it, a big one.
A lot of the time, it is the parents to blame, the upbringing of the child, forming the child. It is why a lot of the people in my town, including students, are racist.
It is probably best to wait a couple days to let paths of the mind settle, emotions to subside, and your friend to analyze her own self in addition to you and your lover, to balance things out. Right?
