I finally finished my research paper!!! I'm so relieved...well not really. I'm sure I'll get a pretty bad grade on it. Writting's just never been my thing. I think I'ld be happy with a C though. Even if I bombed it and get an F hopefully my As from the other quarters will comp for it...Dang, I'm still stressing.

Lulz. I love writing. Get me started on a topic, let me loose with some sources, and watch me go.

I'm good at writing. ... but papers in school, I'd just rather not. Yesterday, we had some essay on Native Americans to do. I didn't do any of it. Instead, I spent the entire block bugging the hell out of the kid next to me. ... heheh, fuzzies. heart ... Today, when people were asking our ignorant teacher about it, he was like 'What paper?' ... He could've just said we didn't have to do it, but he's dumb. -_____- ... But yeah. The Universe loves me. 3nodding

I would take an exam over a paper any day...It bums me out that I have nearly straight As until the big papers near the end and my grade drops somthin' bad. At least the As keep me from failing. I envy the writing talents...

Like I said, I'm good at papers, but I hate when they force you into a format. Seriously. Writing is a form of expression, not uniformity. Seriously. Especially with persuasive essays; those have no chance of persuading anyone. -____________-
... I'd rather do an exam as well.

veggie tales. Like I said, I'm good at papers, but I hate when they force you into a format. Seriously. Writing is a form of expression, not uniformity. Seriously. Especially with persuasive essays; those have no chance of persuading anyone. -____________-
... I'd rather do an exam as well. I don't even understand persuasive essays. Whenever I hand one in that old bat says I just stated my opinion...I don't even know how I did that because it wasn't even my opinion seeing as I was forced into supporting or opposing something I didn't even care about. Sometimes you can't even take one side because there's a lack of facts. For example, Teacher says we have to write a paper supporting or opposing the strict dress code, of course everyone there opposes it, but points like it's uncomfortable, it lowers moral, and it doesn't let us develop a sense of personal style aren't valid because they're opinions. The only facts you were able to find were about how the number of fights dropped since the dress code was instituted and things of that nature. The only facts were in favor of the dress code so no one was able to make much of stand against the dress code so most of the people ended up writing in support of the dress code. But you know what? Those didn't persuade anyone because everyone in the class still oppose the dress code!

I find it easier, in hard cases like that, to take the side with the most sources/facts, even if I don't support it.
Also, I find it easier to argue against or for something, when I already know the arguments for one or the other.
