"Yakuza Moon: Memoirs of a Gangster's Daughter"
Shoko Tendo
"The Woman in the Dunes"
Kobo Abe
"Almost Transparent Blue"
Ryu Murakami
I read Ryu Murakami's "Piercing" AMAZING work if you ask me (if not somewhat/or really rather/ disturbing)
I know Woman in the dunes and Almost TRansparent Blue were originally written in Japanese and translated into English. I don't know about Yakuza Moon, but I wouldn't be surprised either way.
Anyone heard of any of these books? sweatdrop
