Ari lazily laid on his bed looking up at the empty top bunk. With a stretch and a yawn the young cat boy was up and out of bed. His feet greeted the floor with a dull thud. Ari started his way to the door slowly dragging his feet. He was already fully dressed since he tended to sleep in what he was wearing from the day before and his hair usually stayed in place when he woke up.
The young cat boy made his way out of the room and into the hall. He was still fairly new to the establishment and often went around exploring the halls. The walls seemed to be sullen and gray to him here. The atmosphere gloom and depressing in a way, all these wayward folks living here with some sort of memory of being ripped away from a life that once was. Now here him self the cat boy could kind of relate. How tragic to not be wanted anymore, how gloom.
Depressing thoughts ran madly through his mind until he was greeted with a thud by a wall he had walked into. The cat boy feel back on landing with a smack looking with blank green eyes at the ceiling blinded by fluorescence light.

Tila studied her surroundings carefully as she walked down the hall. Her lengthy auburn hair swayed slightly with each step she took. The day had been mostly uneventful. Sometimes she welcomed that, considering her reckless cousin, Rush. But today was different, today she was completely bored. As she reared further down the hall, her mind started to wander...
Thud!
Her eyes darted forward at the sudden, blunt noise. Her ears swiveled. She stopped to peer at the fallen boy in front of her.
"Are..you..alright?" Was the only thing that came. Naturally, of course.

Ari, still stunned from the crash and blinded by the light, heard a voice. His mind answered her 'Yeah Im fine,' but his mouth failed to form the words. Instead he turned over to his side and let out a big "OUCH," than preceded to cover his forehead with his hands where the wall had first made contact. The cat boy rolled to his side and got up slowly, still one hand covering the soon to be bruised spot.
"Y-yeah, I think Im alright," He said now wincing. Was hard for him to make out full shapes as he was still slightly blinded from the crash but slowly and surely he could see Tila's form. He must have taken a harder hit than he thought.
"Where am I?" The words formed before he thought. However, it was true, he was clueless to his where he was in the building after aimlessly wandering and than taking a blow to the forehead.

Tila eyed the boy abit closer. Apparently, somehow, he had ran into..a wall? She silently assumed.
"You're in the West Hall." She replied, firm, tail swaying left and right. Tila failed to recognize him at all. She guessed that he was new and didn't know where he was going. She didn't bother to ask his name. He would tell her, wouldn't he?

Ari's hand dropped back down to his side from his forehead. The mark was red but the pain was gone, "Thanks so much...ermmm," He had not learned her name yet nor given out his. "Uhhh, I guess we never had a proper greeting...." The cat boys arm wrapped behind his head, "My names Ari... and your name is?" His head slowly cocked to one side in an inquiring manner as his arm behind his head slid back beside him.

Tila gave a slight smile, her green eyes studied him abit. "I'm Tila." She replied, extending a gloved, dainty hand for a shake.

Ari found his hand reaching out and grasping her hand gently on its own. "Pleasure to meet you Tila.. haha wish it was under different conditions," A chuckle escaped him as he though of how silly he really must have looked laying around on the floor from walking into a wall.
His hand lifted out of her hand and back on his forehead to cover the red spot. An awkward feeling crept up his spine.

Tila's smile widened, mostly with amusement at the subject. She had found the whole event funny.
"Forget first impressions." she joked, tail swishing a bit faster.

"First impressions usually dont go well for me," He chuckled half joking half not to him self his hand falling back to his side. "Just glad I didnt run into you like that, that would have been even more awkward."
Ari's eyes fixated on her swishing tail as it went a bit faster.

"You could say i'm used to awkward." Her mind, once again, trailed to the memories of her idiot cousin. Sometimes she wondered what made his mind tick..
Tila flicked her hair back and gave a brief nod to the boy.
"Guess i'll see you around?"
