How about that one? =D  I still say, calling Zack an irreplaceable existence to Aeris is 100% disproving Cleris could happen, since how can Aeris fall in love with Cloud if Zack is irreplaceable? Ex-boyfriends are replaceable, that's kind of the point. If someone is irreplaceable, that means you can't fall in love with anyone else and get a new boyfriend. Pretty straight forward, no? It makes sense that the one guy Aeris tried to replace Zack with, ended up being a messed up version of Zack. Hitting home the 'irreplaceable' idea even more. Trying to replace Zack with Zack. XP

Man....I guess I haven't learned anything in Biology.... It's not exactly vital to the understanding of the coursework to know the heritage of every aquatic mammal, so it's not surprising you were unaware. BTW, like I stated before that FF6 parallel was for LunarSchemer cause like VII, 6 is vague to if there even is a canon pairing. >___>

Trust me, there's a heck of a lot more to prove that Aeris never stops loving Zack and or ever starts loving Cloud than just how cute Zeris is in CC. XP
Also, FFVI isn't THAT vague.
The big difference between Racheal and Zack is that Rachel gives her blessing and tells Locke to move on. So though Rachel will of course always have a place in Locke's heart, her place in his life is being replaced and she doesn't mind. Zack on the other hand doesn't give this type of blessing, and we don't see Aeris ever actually replace him, she just tries and fails (considering the guy she chooses ironically is trying to be Zack specifically).
Plus, the quote doesn't just say that Zack and Aeris are irreplaceable to each other, it says they are the irreplaceable existence to each other. That itself is a bold statement and isn't just talking about something that could be left in the past.

We also know that she acts the way she does towards Cloud because of her feelings for Zack.
That'd be like Locke realizing late in FF6 that he was attracted to Celes because she was so much like Rachel.

Haha, KDD, if you were here then you would've seen all the discussion and quotes from Ultimania relating to that. In conclusion, Aeris still has feelings for Zack because in Ultimania it was proven that Aeris did indeed see Zack in Cloud and that Cloud acted most like Zack.
