ZOMG MY EYES! REALITY HURTS US, PRECIOUS!
On another note, I wonder how many people are gainst this who are also with peta, showing the realities of the meat and fur industries. Selective realities ftw.

I had the opportunity of rounding with a NICU team today...I've never been pregnant, I don't generally like babies, but it almost made me choke up to see the screaming, drooling, parasitic little preemies and their red toes. I wondered how it would affect a woman who'd had a miscarriage or an abortion...or even just had a healthy child. Many of them essentially should have still been fetuses, they were only 25-30 weeks from a fertilized egg. eek

NICU is a fun place to work. The babies are ugly but they will still become somebody some day.

I think one of my schools even took us on a field trip to Redlands hospital and we got to see the newborns and X-rays, ect...I haven't been there in a long time but once I get my associates degree, i'll probably be working in the hospital. It's kind of sad seeing neonatals in intensive care.

I'm sorry, but if a woman can't look at an ultrasound, how can she have an abortion?
I feel that if a woman wants an abortion, she should accept what she's doing, and an ultrasound would help that, whether she goes through with it or not.
The ones who regret it are the ones who never would have had an abortion 'had they known', and the ones who don't might look stoically at an ultrasound, and go through with it.
Either way, an ultrasound before an abortion is not "punitive", and it can only help women avoid needless pain.
I don't see why people are calling this an anti-abortion law. It sounds to me like it helps women. heart
