Dezik sighed as he looked around somehow they'd ended up near the Attila clan's camp. "Attila over there." he said, gesturing with his tail in the direction of the camp. At least he knew where they were now, that meant they weren't quite as lost as he'd first thought.
As he listened to Zexion he flicked his tail in acknowledgement. "Maybe... but the others don't like me much either, I try to be nice to them and they pick on me because I have no family."
As Zexion continued to explain about how to earn respect Dezik began to feel slightly more hopeful, maybe in the future he could get people to respect him. He could start a new life, no one would have to know he had no family, he could leave all the mean fafner behind him... he slipped off into a day dream of commanding a clan, still aware of Zexion but not enough to form any coherent responses until he snapped out of his little dream.

Zexion rolled his eyes at dezik's day dreaming. If all hes going to do is daydream til he grows up he won't get anywhere.
"You have to work hard at this Dezik. don't expect to get respected or to have the mean words stop just because you did a few things. Also. I'd get the respect of the other children first. Otherwise they will definately get ruder and meaner to you for being respected by the adults. they'd be "jealous" which means they wished THEY had the respect of the adults. "
"What i would do is bide my time-that is-wait quietly and calmly, until a dangerous or scary situation-problem, comes up. Like the other children getting lost for example. If you help them find their way back maybe that would do it,but be careful what you say. Don't say something like " i TOLD you not to come this way!" or " i know the way and YOU don't!". That will NOT help but make it worse."

Dezik snapped out of his dream as Zexion said his name. He turned to look back at the adult beside him and his tail swayed in acknowledgement to show he understood what was being said. "I'll work hard and then I can be a leader!" he said with possibly a little too much enthusiasm. Then he stopped everything was doing, his tail quivering as he caught an unfamiliar scent. "Zexion... there are some strange fafner here..."
