What is it that makes Sam Fisher so damn likeable?
Why do we naturally find ourselves agreeing with most everything a video game character does, even though its highly violent and unreasonably sadistic.
Me personally, I think he lets us all feel better about the violent temptations we've all had. How can you feel bad about imagining someone being viciously beat to death with baseball bats when Sam Fisher interrogates people and knife point, and then kills them all in the name of justice?
And lets not forget Mr. Sam Fisher's Voice himself, Micheal Ironside. He just plain rocks.

he was the veit nam vet that
he was basicly the villin of the serise

got to agree with Nerv001
i also add to the that he is old:
he is not a 20 year old who act like he has 50 year of experience..
sam is 50 and acts like it..

Toko_Necromancer got to agree with Nerv001 i also add to the that he is old: he is not a 20 year old who act like he has 50 year of experience.. sam is 50 and acts like it.. i thought he was 60? O.o

ask the other guys around here, they told me he was 50 in SCCT

Toko_Necromancer ask the other guys around here, they told me he was 50 in SCCT Yup. In the manual, it says Sam was born in 1957, and the game takes place in 2007. And why is he so likeable? Hmm...Pretty much everything that everbody else said: He's the good guy, he has a sense of humor, he's still alive and kickin' at the age of 50...
