Odette made her way through the lines of people, tail swishing in perfect rythm with her hips. She was humming a song while sifting through piles of manga at the plaza. It was a beautiful day, and with nothing else to do, she had decided to do a little browsing. She liked hanging out hear for the occasional free meal, but finding a place to sleep was another matter. Since she had first heard of WildCat she had set her sites on NyanMan Mansion's basement, but she knew there were already cats living there, so getting in would be tough.
In the meantime, she thought it best to make some friends, and she had yet for that to happen. Maybe she'd run into someone today.

Kiiya made her way down the strip, weaving through the throngs of people with her bobbed tail twitching in excitement. She had never really come to this place before, so it was something new, but all the new sights and smells, and there were a good number of people too. Kii was enjoying herself quite alot. She hummed to herself, though it came out something of a mix between a loud purr and a mew, as she peeked in stores and various bags sitting on the ground, ususally just sat down for a moment so the owner could free up a hand.
With a sharp twitch of her tail she spotted another cat, a lovely LaPerm, poking through stacks of manga. "Hallo there~!" Kiiya hopped towards her, side-stepping a few paces to look at the manga the LaPerm had been looking at.

Odette gazed up a little suprised at the greeting. It was almost like someone had answered her call to meet new people today. She grinned happily, her tail flicking back and forth with excitement. "Hi!," she beamed, this being the first time she had met another cat outside her old apartment home. "I'm Odette, what's your name?" she purred, flipping the graphic novel closed, giving a better view of the cover which read: Rozen Maiden. It was one of the Perm's favorites. Truthfully it reminded her of her old master, who had made dolls for a living, so it held a special place in her heart. Sometimes she wondered if her leaving had been the right thing to do, but she reminded herself then, that it had been for the best. "So you like manga too?" she added, when her long, wavy locks blew into her face with a sudden silght breeze. She waved them out of the way, and tucked them back with a loose hairpin she removed from another strand of hair. "I love the lot here. There's always good stuff, and sometimes food."

Kiiya looked the manga's cover over for a moment before looking back up at Odette, smiling softly. "I'm Kiiya, it is nice to meet you!" She looked back at the stack of manga, eyes going over each of their names before she rolled her shoulders in a shrug. "I'm not sure, I-" Fidgeting lightly she looked back at Odette, a mite embarrassed. "I'm not really sure what it is. This is also the first time I've been here."
The embarrassment passed quickly and the smile slid back across her face. "So, what is it? This manga here?" With a paw she pushed one around so she good get a good look at it's cover before carefully flipping it open to a random page.

"That's a pretty name, Kiiya," Odette replied, making careful note to remember it. "Oooh your first time, I remember my first time," she stated, her eyes getting all sparkly at the thought. She was such a fangirl. She did the same thing when discussing celebrities and other stuff she liked.
"Mangas are..." She paused a moment, trying to think of a good way to explain. "Like telling stories with pictures! And they're really pretty! There's so many different art styles and stories to pick from! It's really exciting, at least I think so."

"Thank you, your's is pretty too." Kii shot her a quick smile before looking back down at the manga, the book held open near the middle so she could look over the two pages. "Oh look, it's like a comic book!" She flip a few more pages, whiskers twitching backwards as she silently mulled over a few thoughts.
Looking from left to right she cocker her head to he side before looking up at Odette. "I don't get it, this doesn't make any sense to me." She pointed at the page and ran a paw over it, trying to figure out why these seemed so out of order.

((well I was hoping more ppl would join the fun xD but I guess not xD sorry I took so long to reply <3))
Odette reached out a paw and ran it across the page as she spoke, "These books usually read from right to left instead of left to right. And you always have to start with book 1. They come in volumes starting with one and going on 2, 3, 4..." She paused a moment, wondering how high she could actually count. "Err but, and so... you read... like this," she continued on, hopeing she was being helpful, and not just confusing the other cat. "Sorry if I don't make sense," she added, smiling and twitching her whiskers a little. "I make it sound complicated, but it's actually pretty easy to get the hang of. Sometimes I even end up trying to read regular books backwards too cause I'm so used to it. Haha."
She chuckled, cutely bopping herself on the head in a scolding manner. "But, I really think you'd like it. A lot of cats seem to. They come form all over for signings and stuff here. There's the occasional territory scuffel, which I usually stay out of, but that's cause I don't really belong anywhere yet...heh. I'd love to live in NyanMan's basement, but I'd really have to earn my way in there. But I'd be one step closer to finding information on Wildcat! He's my new hero!" Her eyes sparkled with enthusiasm, and she was on a tangent again. "Whoops, goin' off topic again. I'm so good at that," she laughed.

((I hope you guys don't mind me jumping in on the RP ^-^))
Dimi sprinted around the manga plaza his tail swinging back and forth in a wild erratic manner as he tried his best to out run a store worker who had began chasing him after he stole a fairly large piece of her sandwich. What's her problem? I'm a starving cat its not my fault I pounced when I say the chance for food. Dimi thought to himself as he zig-zaged between boxes of manga, then he turned quickly and rounding a corner he looked over his shoulder to make sure the woman wasn't right behind him.
In that split second it took for him to look back he ran head on into two other cats a LaPerm and a Japanese Bobtail. Recovering quickly he grabbed the two of them and hid in a pile of manga. After a few long moments he peeked out to make sure the woman had gone past, then satisfied that she was long gone turned to the two cats he had dragged into hiding with him. "Why hello!" He spoke with an over excited tone.

Kiiya watched Odette's paw run across the page, following it closely with her eyes while listening. "Oh, it reads backwards form a normal book?" She looked over the pages again, nodding slowly to herself before looking up and smiling. "Oh, it makes a lot more sense now, heehee. I feel so silly now." Letting out another chuckle she let the book flip closed, deciding she would definitely have to come back to check these out some more.
"Oh wow, really? It must be neat to be here when they do come, see so many different cat's then. Territory scuffles? Sounds dangerous." Her gaze wandered back to the manga stacks before snapping back to Odette at the mention of Wildcat. "I've heard of him, not much though, I must admit." Then she let out a small squeak of surprise as another cat ran and hid behind a pile of manga. She watched silently, but curiously, at the stack until he came out again. "Oh, hello there?" Her whiskers have a friendly wiggle as she cocked her head to the side. "That lady that passed, she was chasing you? Why?"

"Aw, it's an easy mistake to make," Odette purred with a smile. "I did too for awhile. But-" as she was about to start gushing over Wildcat, a Scottish Fold came whipping around the corner. With a mew of suprise as she was almost plowed down, Odette was pulled behind a stack of manga by the strange cat. "Wha-wha-what's going on?!" she stuttered, crawling out after the lady had passed. She looked to the stranger, and sniffed at him a little. He smelled strange--now this was because Odette had never met a boy in person before. "Who are you?" she finally managed, he seemed nice enough. But she couldn't help, but notice his ears. She wanted to reach out and touch them; unlike hers, they folded down, rather than perked up. And she found herself asking, "Are your ears okay?" without waiting to find for a response about his name. "We were looking at manga, why was that lady after you?"

((Sorry for the late reply guys! *feels bad about it*))
Dimi looked from one cat tot he other listening to what they were asking when Odette asked about his ears a small twitch rippled through both of his ears. "My ears?" He mused as he absent mindedly reached up and touched both of them, then a look of understanding came across his face. "Oh! You're wondering why they're folded, well I'm a scottich fold so I was born with folded ears!" He said smiling broadly at the two girls. "I'm Dimi and its nice to meet both of you....what're your names?" He casually asked having realized he didn't know their names. He took a breath to continue answering questions without pausing for a reply "That lady was chasing me because...!" he stopped midsentence and started looking around franticlly and dove back into the pile of manga.
After a minute or two of looking he popped back up out of the pile triumphantly. "Here it is!" he cheered waving around the bit of sandwich he had stolen. "That lady was chasing me because I took a bit of her sandwich. Want some?" he said spliting the small, yet large for a cat, piece of sandwich into three smaller pieces.

"Your ears are so cute~" Kiiya giggles softly at the male's folded ears. She had never seen a cat with ears like that before, only ever one's like her with the ears standing. "It's nice to meet you too, Dimi, I am Kiiya." She watched in slight confusion as he ducked back down, popping up some moments later with some sandwich.
"Oh, now that's not very nice, stealing that ladies sandwich." She watched as Dimi broke it into a few smaller peaces and offered them. "Uhh but, I am rather hungry, I'm sure she can find something else to eat." She sniffed lightly at one of the pieces, tail twitching at how tasty it smelled, and looked!

"Oh I see, well that makes sense then," the Perma replied, seeing as how 'fold' was in his breed name. "My name is Odette. I'm a Perma... see?" she paused, flicking her curly-haired tail out for the others to get a good look. "Like a 'perm'," she joked. "That's where we got our name."
She smiled when Dimii offered a piece of sandwhich. "Oooh I AM hungry. I didn't have breakfast this morning. Thank you! thank you!" she happily replied taking a bit of the sandwhich. "Mmm it smells delicious." She took a little nibble, and then a bigger one. "And it TASTES delicious too. Hey Dimii-..." she paused between bites. "-Do you live out here in the plaza?" She was guessing that it wasn't his territory because he didn't act hostile, soperhaps he was just visiting. But then again, you knever knew. Maybe he was just nice.
