What is Life Issues Las Vegas?

Life Issues Las Vegas (LILV) is an organized meet & greet event for the Life Issues community on Gaia.

Who is organizing this event?

LILV is being hosted by the Life Issues Hangout guild on Gaia, specifically guild founders ButterBalls and Soleq. While this event is focused on Gaia and its members, it is not an official Gaia convention.

Who can come?

LILV is open to the entire Gaia community. Whoever wants to come and chat with the people behind the names is more than welcome to come. There is one catch, if you're under the age of 18 you need to have your parents' permission.

When and where is it?

July 26-27th, 2008, Las Vegas, Nevada. More information will be posted closer to the event.

How do I come?

Do I have to arrange for my own transportation and lodging?

Short answer, yes. Long answer, y...e...s. You can probably find people to ride share or room share, but we will not be specifically organizing anything formal. Please be safe if you choose to travel or room with others.

Are we supposed to dress up as our avatars?

This is completely optional. Keep in mind that Vegas in the summer is fairly warm.

I can't make it this time, is there going to be another one?

While this is the first Life Issues event, we hope it's not the last. In other words, there might be another one next summer. We would very much like this to be an annual event depending on how many people end up going.

Can I tell my friends about LILV?

Of course! Invite your Gaia friends! To make things easier, you can attach this to your signature.
