Omi opened one of his eyes and looked down at Vi, finally deciding she made enough of a fool of herself. With a chuckle he sighed and stretched out, "Those sound affects of yours are really something you know... I almost felt like I was under attack!" Omi let out a full throated laugh and stood from his laying position with a grunt. Turning around he began to walk off through the trees, not really caring what Vi ended up choosing to do... follow or be left behind...

Vi gasped as he talked, rolling backwards with a "Ouff" Noise. She hurried up as he started off and she followed. "You were awake? Did i bother? I didn't mean to...are you mad? Or did you like them...I don't want to upset such a powerful elder. Especially the first elder i ever met. Can i come with or do you want me to leave? Oh i'll be quiet now." She said as she closed her mouth but followed him wondering where they would go.

Omi rolled his eyes and looked down at Vi, "I am a relatively hard dragonfly to anger, but I must say that us elders often enough enjoy silence. You aren't exactly bothersome... just know that unless I chase you off, your company does not woe me in any way..." He trailed off and sighed, that was the best he could explain it. Lumbering through the trees at a snail speed, Omi was actually just wandering aimlessly hoping something relatively interesting would happen soon.

Vi looked over at him and nodded. "I'm sorry. What should we do? Anything interesting around this part of the woods?" She asked. She looked around and then suddenly fell through the ground into some caves under some tall grass she had walked into. She landed with a thud about 8 feet down. She groaned as she lay on her side. She didn't feel too hurt, bused maybe but ok. She rolled carefully and got up onto all fours slowly. "Buruomidu...Are you still there?" she called up from the bottom of the hole. She looked around and could tell there was a tunnel to the side of the cave but she wasn't sure if she wanted to go that way.

Omi sighed, "WE aren't going to do anything... And if there was anything interesting going on anywhere in this entire bliddy forest, I wouldn't be here." With a huff he continue walking, picking up his pace a little so that he would be in front of Vi. Suddenly, her presence seemed to vanish, and things got quieter for the moment.That was until the purple female called out for Omi, then the quiet was shattered once more. With another, slightly more annoyed sigh, Omi turned around and spotted a hole in the ground. He didn't understand how he hadn't fallen through it while the much lighter purple adult did, but he didn't have time to think on that.
Lumbering over to the edge and peering over he saw the girl at the bottom of a hole about 8ft down. Great.... now I have to save her. I SHOULD just walk off an say good riddance, but... then I won't be able to sleep tonight. Stupid conscience, never does right by me. Ah well, the hole isn't too deep... "Alright girly, here is what you're gonna do. Seeing as I'm in a charitable mood today, I'm gonna save your scrawny self. But after I do, I don't want any more disturbances understood? If you want to be stubborn fine, follow me, but next time you fall behind you will be left behind; no if's, and's, or but's..." Turning into his elf form, in a swirl of snow and ice, Omi walked over to a tree and ripped down a rather long and thick vine with ease. He swung it around a nearby sapling and holding both ends he jumped into the hole and landed with an "Oof!" Omi then noticed the tunnel off too the side of the hole but did not give it much thought since it was unnecessary for their escape. "Hold still and I don't want a word out of you until I'm done. Thank all your divine beings that I'm strong enough to do this." Tying a slip knot around Vi's middle and making sure it was tight, Omi grabbed the free end of the rope and began to heave, trying to pull Vi off the ground and up the side of the hole to safety.

Vi nodded to him as he jumped in and tied the vine around him. She looked down dolefully feeling like she couldn't make him happy at all and she was only making him mad. After he jumped back up she slowly began to lift off the ground. She swung a little back and forth with each tug. But as she got higher she started scraping against the dirt around the ring of the hole. "Ouch...oh my head..." she said softly trying not to let Omi hear her. She didn't want to make him even more mad about her. She pushed away from the wall, now covered in dirt. And looked up, she was just about out. She looked up again and a small amount of dirt fell in her eye. She wiggled trying to get it out but began spinning about in circles on the vine. She tried not to say anything as she tried to get the dirt out.

Omi felt the rope give way to his strength and watched as Vi was lifted into the air and over his head. She scrambled slightly for some reason and Omi growled but noticed that she was covered in dirt and gave her the benefit of the doubt. He heaved and pulled with all his strength, his muscles straining at the extraneous work. Suddenly a shower of dirt came cascading down the wall, and the ridiculous female was now failing about. Omig stopping pulling and yelled in exasperation, "Stop MOVING! You can do what ever you need to do once we are out of this bloody hole! What are you- stop flailing!!! You're gonna snap the vine! Its not unbreakable you know!" Omi snarled and waited for Vi to stop moving as he watched the rope slowly wear down. If he didn't get her out soon, the rope would snap, and they'd end up both being stuck because Omi knew he didn't have the strength to do this all over again.

Vi stopped when he yelled at her and tried to look at him. She couldn't open one of her eyes and it was running all over as it tried to get the dirt out of it. "I'm sorry." She said before gasping cause she had said sorry and spoken again. She covered her mouth with her paws and tried to steady her self with her back foot on the wall. She looked up and saw the vine was be
beginning to fray. She hoped that he could get her out before it snapped, and before her eye got worse. She stopped moving beside to keep her leg on the wall so she didn't bounce and kept her paws over her mouth so she didn't talk, or cry out in pain from the dirt in her eye.

Omi pulled up faster and with more vigor as Vi stopped moving and settled. He grunted and heaved, sweat trickling down between his shoulder blades and off the edge of his face. Finally with a few last desperate tugs, Vi was at the edge of the hole, but Omi wanted keep on pulling until she was completely out of it. He shouted up too her, "When you are out clear the way! I'll need space too get out of here myself!"

Vi nodded and turned her head so her good eye could see the lip of the hole. She reached out as she got close to pull her self over the lip. She scraped over the edge and pulled her self out of the hole. She sat there and tried to rub at her eye to get the dirt out as she called to him. "I'm clear!" she said as she whimpered at the pain in her eye. She lay down waiting for him to come out as she tried to get all the dirt out.

Omi nodded to himself as Vi called out the all clear and transformed into his elder form once more, a flurry of ice and snow enveloping him as he underwent the change. Finally he stood with four paws firmly on the ground, exactly the way he wanted to be. The space in the hole was now considerably smaller now that Omi took up more space, but it did not bother him. Omi coiled up his muscled and sprang into the air and out of hole with ease. He landed next too it and peered about before looking down at Vi. She was rubbing furiously at her eye, and Omi felt only slightly remorseful for having been so heartless. Pulling moisture out of the air Omi bent it into a solid ice bowl that he placed before Vi. He then breathed slightly on it and the inside edge of the bowl melted into water. Gruffly Omi commented, "Use that water, it'll be much more sanitary than cleaning out the dirt in your eye with the dirt on your paw." He settled himself and peered down at the hole, wondering what it would have possible been.

Vi looked at the water and scooted towards it and stuck her eye into the water...though most of her whole face went in. She opened it and blinked in the water to get it in her eye to get the dirt out. She whimpered as it didn't feel too much better. She moved her head around and then lifted it and blinked. It felt better, but she was sure her eye was red. She didn't feel any more dirt in there, but she felt that it was going to be sore for a while and kept it closed. She looked at him as she lay on the ground, feeling silly infront of this smart elder. "Thank you. I didn't mean to cause you so much trouble over me." she said, her way of saying sorry with out saying sorry. She lay there, her eye throbbing, watching him look at the hole.

Omi stared intently at the hole the entire time Vi was washing her eye out. He was pondering intently about all the possible reasons for its existence. In fact, Omi was so entranced by his own mind's wanderings that he had completely forgotten about Vi's existence until, suddenly ,she spoke up once more, having finished washing her eye out. With a jolt, Omi was returned to his normal consciousness and snapped his head around to stare down at Vi. "I guess it was an accident, and was ultimately not anyones fault. But you need to watch where you place you paws alright...? Good... now then... Off we go!" Omi turned around once more and began to pad around the hole giving it a wide berth. As he walked, he kept a sharp eye out for any signs that there may be another hidden "trap" .
