Aden slipped back his sleeve and looked at the time. "Well, home is about 45 minutes worth of a walk." He confessed. And then watched her get off. "Home is where my parents live and on a day like today, my three brothers and three sisters, but they're not home all home. We usually go camping at another forest about six hours away, but I told them I couldn't because I needed 'time to myself'." He laughed lightly. "And my brother said the same, so we're both free from going, so... in other words.. There's about six cars at home." He turned his head to look at Talia better. "They usually take mom's SUV and Dad's Excursion." he turned to look at the fire as it crackled.

Aden's eyes found their way back to Talia as he smiled again. "Nah, plus I don't think he's home yet. He stoled my truck, remember? Usually when he does that, it's to take a girl out. He took that idea of mine. I told him I wanted a nice vintage truck so when I got on a date, at night, I just pull out a quilt and cuddle with the person in the back of the truck and look up at the stars. So, whenever he meets a girl he likes, he steals my truck and doesn't come back for about 2-3 days."

Aden turned his head to face the fire again. "We used to argue a lot because I used to find things in my truck that weren't mine for the simple fact that I'm not a girl." He laughed lightly. "But he's cleaned up his act." he eyes stood staring at the glistening crystals. "So, would you like to go home with me? I'm extremely famished." He confessed and turned his head back towards Talia as it was extremely hard for him to resist the sweet temptation. "I know how to cook." He added with a bashful smile.

Aden laughed lightly "Yes ma'am I do. When there's a family of 10, there's always a lot of cooking to be done. So, each of us help prepare. It's like taking shifts." He stated with a big smile and then took Talia's hand, not really to help himself up, but rather to just feel her hands again. They were comforting to hold.

Aden thought about the question for a minute as he stared at the burning wood. "It might be needed later on." He said and then pulled the bottom of the logs that weren't up in flames yet. Once he fully spread the wood apart from each other, it burned down smoothly. "Okay, we can go." He admitted as he wiped his pants off once he noticed there were little leaves and branches stuck to them.

He then went to the body sized tunnel and stood next to it. "Ladies first." He said, bowing soon after.

Aden patiently allowed Talia to slip out first. When he was going to follow her, a bitter stale scent flew past his nose and his eyes shot to the opening of the whole where the moonlight was able to sneak in to twinkle and dance their way around the crystals. He took in a deep slow break and then walked away from the thin tunnel and up to the whole in the upper part of the cave.

He went up on his tippy toes and grabbed the edge of the whole and found little pockets in the wall to slip his hiking boots in to climb up higher. Once he was at the height of the whole he stuck his head in curiously and began taking in the different scents. All the normal scents were there. The smell of the dirt, the crisp air, the smell of deers, tree trucks, the faint smell of the vampire he had detested and then suddenly the same stale scent hit his nose again and his eyes shot back and forth trying to find what it was until a small orb of light appeared and then in a matter of milliseconds it was gone again.

A low rumble sounded in his throat as he jumped down. He didn't intent to be out here so late and the walk home would be far from normal. He then looked into the tunnel and saw Talia standing and even though he was worried about what could be lurking now in the forest, he couldn't help but smile. He had spent a great evening with her and he hoped many, may more would follow.

He slowly and gradually passed through the thin fitting of the tunnel and pulled up in front of Talia. "Hey." he said with happy, soft smile. He then checked his pockets and felt the flashlight. He pulled it out and turned it on. "Here." He said with a smile as he handed her the flashlight once again. "You could use it more than me."

Once Talia took the flashlight, Aden slipped his hand into hers and held it softly as he took a step forward to get her to start walking beside him.

Aden tried keeping his pace slow enough for her to keep up and fast enough for them to get out quickly. When he heard her half question he smiled brightly and then turned to look at her as spoke again. "Actually, I do. I enjoy it quite a lot." he said and laughed lightly. "..But what I like, not many people like. Instead of being hooked on fantasy books, although I do like some, I prefer horror or suspense or something with some type of humor. So far, my favorite books are Blood and Chocolate, Blind Fury, Girl Interrupted and the Masque of the Red Death." He turned to look ahead and then smiled again. "How about you?" he asked as he saw they had reached the big step.

Aden carefully let go of her hand and then placed his hand on the ground and then jumped down. Once he did, he looked up at her and smiled and put his hands out. "I could carry you as my bride." He said with a bashful smile. "Or at least, help you down?"
