The car/oil companies killed the electric car.
They bought out it's patents and so it'll be at least another ten years before we see them out for consumers.

There are still electric cars available. Only like, two models in this country, though. There are more elsewhere. ... Companies here started to make them, but the government doesn't want them. The government wants global warming.
