The very dark background mixed with the light text bugs out my eyes, but it always does ^^;

Since its a site devoted to anita blake...the image of St. louis on the welcome page might be confusing if people dont recognize it...Might want to put an image of her, or something, JUST MY OPINION YOU ASKED! lol im seriously not trying to be mean or anything
The font is a little to blah...maybe Comic sans, arial or something would be better ^^;
I really dont understand the green slime looking graphics, like...it might fit if you think of it as the fluids that come from the shapeshifters when they change forms...ew..XD I dont think its green though..lol I mean it doesnt look horrible, dont get me wrong!
