[.SamusAran.] Nemesis Omega Hello everyone! I was just invited to the guild. I'm Nemesis Omega, though you guys can call me Nem, everyone does. To show how much of a "nerd" I am, Nemesis was the Greek Goddess of justice/revenge. Omega would be me stealing part of Zero (Yes, from Megaman's) name. In real life I'm a 26 year old married woman who manages a Gamestop. Thanks for the invite. smile I do believe you are now the oldest member. I totally forgot I joined this guild a while back (I rarely check my Guild List). Hell, I might have alreadly introduced myself a long time ago, but just to be on the safe side:
24 yo art major here, currently residing in Dallas TX. Been a long time lurker on The Ol' VGD forum for years, but frequently take breaks due to nausea brought on by obnoxious Gaians. Was a Gamestop store manager for years, and a long time self-hatin' game enthusiast. I enjoy pretty much every genre out there, though I have my favorites:
Adventure (point and click)
Fighting (KoF and Soul Calibur)
Role Playing Games (Chrono Cross and Vagrant Story)
METAL ******** GEAR
Platformers (Psychonauts)
SILENT ******** HILL
And so on.
Video games have held a tight grip on my life for as long as I can remember. Even though the industry has grown into a beast no longer recognizable to me as it once was, and though the "gaming" community induces horrible rage migraines on a regular basis, I still can't help but be entranced by them.
I love to read newssites and blogs about them, go window shopping for them, and talk about them with intelligent people (which is rare). I own all the consoles and handhelds, a PC, and pretty much use them all regularly.
Hell, video games are how I met my wife (she was wearing an SNK shirt when I met her).
Anyway, that's pretty much me. I'm not terribly interesting. Just looking for some smart, literate people to talk about games with who won't fanboy/girl it up too much (yes, we get it, Nintendo is ******** 1337, enough already).
