I've got to admit, due to religious beliefs, I would not accept one. I don't believe anyone should die, despite how horrible they are. As Gandhi said, "Hate the sin, not the sinner." But in the back of my mind, if there was no consequence for killing (religiously speaking), I would absolutely love one (myspace and facebook would be a gold mine of kills)!

So if we get rid of those who did wrong to others, then is it murder if we do? If not, let the blood flow like a river, to lead into the ocean. If so, then those people really need to die anyways!

Good question. Me and some people from my barkada (group of friends) would love to have one actually. There was actually a time when I joined the Discipline Committee and we had to have a notebook to write down the offenses of our classmates and report it to our teacher...
What we did was let the leader buy one and then she covered it with black then when she came to schol the next day with the notebook, she asked me and my friend, "How does Misa's Death Note sign look like?" And we cracked up.
WHen our teacher saw it she was surprised and she laughed at us, actually with us. rofl
