Draega's eyes took on a sad and sort of misty look and seemed about to reply to his question when Hannah returned. Draega merely nodded to her question about if they were done with their soup or not and lifted the bowls away with a reassurance that dinner would be out momentarily. Draega waited until her tall, slim frame had disappeared before turning toward Feign once more. She had respected his response and found herself warming to his company, despite the obvious danger, it wasn't often that she got a chance to talk with someone who challenged her mentally, though she'd never tell Micah that.
She did not look at him however as she answered his query with one of her own to begin. "I'm not sure what powers it is that you posses Mr. Feign, though it's quite clear that you posses much more than a sharp wit and excellent deductive reasoning. So... I suppose this is a fair question to pose." She closed her eyes and took a deep steadying breath before turning to look him in the eyes, hers holding a shimmering sort of endless love that seemed to brighten the dark depths of Draega's mind despite herself. "Have you ever been deep inside the planet? I don't mean like within the depths of a mine but much deeper, so deep that you are surrounded by nothing but molten rock and flame. I've only gone down that far once ... a long time ago when I was still practicing control. I wanted to know what would happen if I simply let myself go."
She took in a deep breath once more and closed her eyes, a dreaming and warm smile spreading across her features as she thought back on that day. "The planet has it's own heart-beat. Like it's alive. Like that super-heated core is it's heart. There's so much energy surging and flowing and relaxing before it all begins to build again...almost as if the planet itself is constantly making love." When she opened eyes once more they were a bit hard. "It's distressing to know that such a wonderful and beautiful thing could be in the control of such a man as Eleck. And though I believe that predicting the fate of the planet would be very much like looking into the future, a power I do not have, I do know one thing. I know that I would give my life without a second life if only to make sure that such a thing continues to exist."
She shook her head however, as if shaking off a bad cloud and smiled a bit nervously before chuckling a bit in the same manner. "However...I doubt a man of ambition would want to risk his empire and what might be his own life by destroying the very planet he and all of his customer base live on. It's just not good business." She added the last bit with a wry and sarcastic smirk just as Hannah returned with their meals and a pair of chopsticks for each of them.

He listened to her, taking in each work bit by bit. Her passion for the world...well, at least she had passion for something while Eleck had no more than Avarice painted about himself and his empire. The fact they could connect on such a mental level was quite intriguing to him, enough so for him to possibly spoil their dinner. He'd finally crack a grin and stare at her for a moment before shifting his eyes to the pocket of the trench in which the black envelope lie...where a picture of he, branded the name Kain, lie.
"Eleck doesn't need this planet. He'll go from one to another, corrupting it, making it wriggle in writhe until it dies out, and just before it screams out for the final time he, and those loyal to him will leave to destroy yet another planet." He'd then nod to the envelope.
"Remove it. I know you want to know who destroyed the monument to those who stand against Eleck...well, his picture's in there. You can see the face of the one you've been hunting. You'll also have blueprints and schematics to the entire H.E.C. building and a Skeleton Key. There are a few hard drives containing absolutely everything Eleck's personal computer has stored in it. You couldn't ask for more." He'd chuckle to himself, then grab the glass with his thumb and index fingers again, sipping a bit more of the water, waiting for her reaction. This could go a multitude of ways...he didn't know how one so devoted to "passion" would act.

Draega felt an odd sense of foreboding wash over her, as if she had suddenly been doused with ice water. Her chopsticks hovered a few inches above her plate as she ran his words over in her mind. Hadn't he told her to wait? Still, it wasn't as if there was anyone who could see them behind such a dark curtain, which simply made Draega feel worse about the situation. After all, there was no one to see should her date suddenly decide to kill her. The moment felt very much like a trap to her.
She knew she shouldn't have let her guard down. She had been an idiot to do so. Still, the idea that she might finally learn enough to take down Eleck once and for all was a great temptation. She took a moment to slowly set down her chopsticks before staring at Feign with wary and suspicious eyes. She studied him for one long moment, watching the changes of light within his eyes. She wanted to question him, demand to know if it was a trap, but she knew better. Instead she did as he asked and pulled out the envelope from where it lay within his coat.
She placed it upon the table and fought to force her hands not to tremble as she slowly opened it and drew out a picture with the name 'Kain' written neatly upon the bottom. Her eyes upon seeing Feign's face upon the photo forced her to utter a laugh, shrill and hysterical as tears brimmed and then slipped from her eyes. "God..." she muttered through her now harsh breathing, "...it would be you wouldn't it? " Her voice was strained and her head bowed as she didn't want him to see the torment that had crossed her features.

Feign now cast aside and Kain without an amusing rouse would simply stare at her for a moment, letting her think things over as his middle finger would find it's way around his glass continuously. His eyes would shift to their original deep scarlet as he'd look to his plate and toss a bit of the shrimp in to his mouth and savor the taste before allowing himself to speak after painfully swallowing.
"Nothing I've told you is false, just for the record. And if it will calm you then please keep in mind I've no intention of harming you, much less killing you. Quite the hideous thought in my opinion. You wanted to see the face of the one that demolished that building single handedly...well, here it is. Handsome, yes?" He'd chuckle to himself before popping another shrimp in to his mouth and again savoring the taste before forcing it down his throat like a kidney stone out...well, no need for that detail.
"I was instructed by Eleck, or as you might here me call him on those tapes my "master" to destroy the Faction HQ. And thus I did with ease and joy, but not for him. I did so to prevent any sort of war that could break out between the Faction and H.E.C. I left the people alive with the help of a certain creature and annihilated moral. I was then instructed to wipe out remaining members of any resistances, but I've yet to obey that order since, instead going in to hiding and biding my time." Again a snap of the wrist to send shrimp in to his mouth and down his throat. He'd then look about for a moment before sending a strange field out from his own body, an electromagnetic field to make sure no one could listen in on them from any sort of radio device.
"The Faction posed a threat only as a means of stirring Eleck in to a war, one that would only further cause pain to this planet and I will not have that. But, Eleck, and H.E.C., remain a threat, and I'm bored of using toys to help me with my jobs. I'd rather use someone on the inside to do my work. I'd rather give you the vengeance you no doubt hunger for than end everything in out big bang." He'd look to her with a smile, still warm in nature, then entwine his fingers and rest his elbows on the table, starring at her.
"Help me, Draega. Destroy Eleck's foundation and legacy while I hang Eleck out to dry for all to see. Everything you need to do that is in that envelope. I can get you whatever you need my friend. You spoke of passion...my lies in creating a world free from Tyrants like Eleck who harm the planet for personal gain and mind-dead fools like Micah who would harm the planet through a fight he could never win." A bit of red would then run over his cheeks as he'd soon look away from her.
"Besides, I kinda like you. You were quite the fun challenge for me...brains and beauty in one package is about as rare as it gets. Hell, if it'll help, take a few swings at me...I think you deserve that much." He'd then turn back to her and chuckle a bit, wondering if she really would haul off and deck him like he deserved.

Draega listened to him, refusing to look up at him. As he spoke she turned still, as if calming. For a long moment after he finished speaking Draega remained in that same position before she slowly raised her head and looked at him through a tear-stained face that held a look of confusion for the first time that night, as well as a bit of indignation. "Now why on earth would I hit you? " She shook her head and wiped away what remained of her tears before smiling in a silly way.
"Do I look like someone whose ever thrown a punch in her life? " she gave out a choked sort of laugh as she crossed her arms around her waist, her expression a bit tired though now it was clearly amused. "God...but I should hit you. Making me worry for as long as I did about friends. Wondering if they were alive or dead. And then...then you showed me that and all I could think about was that I'd made a mistake and would wind up like them...even after I'd started to like you. " She let out a long breath and sank into the booth behind her.
However she shook herself off and sat up straight once more giving him a more serious look though she seemed relieved and confused as well. "Even now I keep wondering if this is a trap. Though...I want to trust you. And..." She rested a hand upon the envelope her eyes staring at it with an sort of vindictive gleam. "...I want to stop Eleck. I'm sure Micah won't like it...in fact...it'd probably ruin the friendship we have...but then again...so would a lot of others things I've done trying to aide him and the others. "
She turned back to face Feign...no...Kain and smiled a small but soft and warm smile. " I'm willing to work with you Kain...after all...I haven't had contact with the Faction since before the Headquarters were destroyed. I suppose it's time to change tracks a little." She wondered, briefly, if she was making the right decision, but her heart, something Draega never ignored, told her to say yes. Though it also told her stay on guard.

"I hate seeing you in tears...it actually makes me hurt inside." this was a new feeling to him. Sure, back on Earth he was...well, he ushered in Chaos, but he knew that world was as good as doomed and he may as well have centuries worth of fun before the inevitable happened. Here, on this new world, he wanted to use his mass of powers to do good for the planet, keep it alive and help build a world in which people would never have to worry about how the world would affect their children.
He'd actually laugh a bit. Such a different mindset then he used to have...damn near the opposite. It felt good. He'd look to Draega with an honest grin and nod. "Glad to have you on board, then. And I know you're not going to trust me right off the bat...you'd be an idiot to, and you're far from an idiot, thus..." He'd catch himself rambling and pop another shrimp in to his mouth. He'd chew and lean back in to the booth a bit, not quite sure why the hell he couldn't keep to his cool, casual and classy self. He'd swallow, flat out ignoring the sharp pain...
...and snatch her right hand from across the booth, probably knocking a lot of things over in the process as he'd proceed to jump on to and crouch upon the table while keeping a solid grip on her hand and giving her a stern stare. "Dunno why I'm saying this, much less why I care so much, but understand I will not allow ANY harm to come to you. You'll have your vengeance upon H.E.C. and I'll bring that b*****d's head to you on a silver platter." He'd give a stern nod, not only to her but to himself as if locking in a promise to himself as well.

Draega outrightly blushed as he took her hand, ignoring for a moment the fact that he had spilled both glasses of wine as well as most of their dinner. She didn't think she wanted it anymore anyway, the drama of the evening had chased the desire from her mind. Instead she smiled wide like a giddy sort of school-girl, finding herself flattered beyond much of a response. For the first time in a long while Draega found that she did not care what Micah would have thought of her. She did not care if she might be making a bad decision, something told her that no matter what this adventure she was embarking on with Kain was going to be interesting.
"I'm not quite sure what I'd do with a head on a silver platter...but I'm pretty sure that was the greatest compliment a woman could receive. I promise to do my best for you...in everything I can do." She told him, squeezing his hand gently to show she returned his gesture. She then smiled a bit slyly and chuckled, leaning up to whisper in his ear. "Tell me? Do you always jump up on tables during your dates or am I just special?" she asked, her tone amused though a blush continued to grace her cheeks.

He'd light up with a wide grin as she spoke, though once she whispered in to his ear reality would sink back in to his mind. He'd look down...look at the table, look at their food and the whine...oh well done, Kain. For a man of class you've just made the grandest of all ASSES of yourself. He'd blush a bit and rub the back of his neck, jumping back in to his booth and trying to pick things up.
"To answer your question: You're obviously special because I've never quite lost track of my surroundings or anyone else's like that before...I'm so sorry! Crap...what a mess..." He'd look to her...then sigh. This would be the fourth power he'd have to put on display for her. He'd release her hand and place his palms to the table and smile, focusing on only the contents of the table rather than the table itself and close his eyes. In but a few moments the mess would crystallize, not in to ice but true crystal and begin to condense in to one big ball of a mess which would soon begin to "chip" in the middle of the table in to the form of a rose.
Now he was happy. The table was cleaner than it'd ever been no doubt and he now had something he'd fail to arrive with, something that had been eating at him from the inside since the beginning. He'd pick up the crystal rose and blow a few chips off and offer it to the woman opposite him.
"Please, accept it as a symbol of my promise to you as well as a token of my apology for ruining dinner. Reorder if you'd like; I've no problem making sure you're fed. Please?" He was starting to realize he was really only fooling himself when he was "acting" like Feign. Other than putting on odd demonstrations of table manor and changing a syllable of his name...nothing else had changed. He still felt the same way about her...this was going to be an interesting endeavor for him to say the least.

Draega never knew what it was like to loose her breath before out of joy instead sorrow or pain. She had never seen anything quite so unique or beautiful. She had no idea a human being or even a UH could do such a thing. She reached out tentatively and grasped the rose with a gentle hand, taking it from him with care as she was afraid to break such a pretty thing. She stared at it in wonder for a moment before smiling sweetly at him, nearly lovingly.
"I don't think I've ever had a more emotionally up-stirring evening. " She told him honestly. She lifted the rose to her lips and kissed it softly. Then, as if inspired Draega touched the rose to her arm, letting it slip beneath the skin, the muscle, and the bone and retracting it, slowly, as if pulling through syrup or tar until at last she pulled it free leaving a mark, much like a tattoo in it's place. She held it up for him to see and smiled a bit in embarassment.
"I'll leave this as a symbol of my new alliance then...a promise of my own. To never betray you're trust." She told him sincerely, her eyes strong in their resolution. Then she chuckled and her smile became amused, "And that you owe me one Masaman curry at a later date...as I'm pretty sure I couldn't eat anymore tonight if I tried."

He'd watch her, finding it rather, well, cute that she was so careful with it. He'd chuckle to himself, then watch the rose move...through her? He was rather captivated, impressed. He always regarded himself as the only UH to truly posses the power of previous Gods, though he was quite the egomaniac in the end, hence why he was so baffled as to the fact he found himself amazed by what she'd done. A concept he couldn't understand. He'd go to question her about it, make the power his own in theory...though something hit him in his chest yelling "Just shut up." He'd listen to this vocal feeling and just smile looking to her again and most likely failing to notice any red in his cheeks.
"An alliance...no, I'd never call it as such. Rather, a partnership. I form alliances with enemies, but never partnerships." And then it hit him. She said one of the magic words. One was Shrimp, as he'd possibly exposed this night. The next was Curry. A word that made him want to dash out and buy some and wolf it down regardless of consequence. Again, he'd ignore his mind and allow other internal organs to guide him. "And if it's Curry you want...on another date...then it's my treat again. The best Curry in the world!" Again a nod of a symbolized promise before pulling out his wallet, making sure he was ready for Ms. Hannah's return. "She's going to be pissed her silverware and plates are gone, isn't she?"
He'd sigh, ready to quite literally pay for his actions, though the thought came to mind: What was next? They were going to bring down H.E.C.! ...This wasn't going to happen right away. "So then I suppose...erm...is there anything else you wish to do tonight, Ms. Draega?"

Draega chuckled and touched the crystal rose to her chin, feeling perfectly at ease and oddly cared for now. "Not that I can of. I have the feeling I should probably head home and get a good night's sleep if I'm going to be at my best to help you out." She shook her head however grinned. "And you'd be surprised how many dishes this place is used to using in an evening alone."
Hannah returned promptly then, spotted the missing dishes and simply sent a glance in Draega's direction. Draega smirked proudly, "Don't look at me. Wasn't my fault this time. HE did it." she added with a gesture in Kain's direction. Hannah turned her attention to Kain and merely sent him a flirty sort of smirk. "Well...so long as he pays I won't feel too offended. " The waitress sighed dramatically, "It's always the pretty ones too." she commented as she left, sending Draega into a small fit of giggles.

"The pretty ones?" He'd finally give off the smirk he was known for back on Earth, almost revealing a fang. "Ladies, you have no idea how 'pretty' this man can be." He'd casually toss a raven strand from his face and remove his wallet from his pants. He'd remove one of the many cards in the wallet, choosing the VISA this time just because he felt like using something with blue colors on it. "I'm sure our kind waitress will only take what she thinks is fair for the meals, the plates, and her time, yes?"
He'd let out another sigh, hough it was slow and creeped through smiling pale lips. "All right, so back home it is for you. Please be warned the next time you see me I wouln't be so casually dressed. Only for you would I appeal to human profiling." He'd sit and think for a moment...certain precautions were now needed, a way for him to know it was, well, her. He had an idea...risky, but it'd solve quite a few problems.
"Ms. Draega, I ask you please listen very carefully." Again he'd cup his hand and rest his elbows upon the table, now resting his chin upon his cupped hands. "It's more than obvious this establishment was one meant for meeting just like this and that our kind waitress is more than used to dealing with situations like this, but at the same time, even with the scrambling electromagnetic field having been sent out, you never know who managed to listen to just enough or who could have eyes on us still. It'd be far to easy for someone to try and copy your being and fool me...so I'm going to need to plant a special coding of sorts directly in to you...I will warn you, as someone that cares about you, the methods will be highly unorthodox and have a good chance of even being frightening to those not prepared to go all-out." He'd then scoot from the booth and stand before issuing her a bow as his right arm would cross over his chest and his waist would bend to force his body in to a 90* angle before rising. He'd then toss her a card, one containing only his initials and the address to his residence.
"I'll need that credit card back at some point and I'd love it if you'd be the one to bring it back to me. Feel free to use it a bit if you so wish, should you choose to be such a kind woman that is. Please make sure to have an answer concerning my last rambling to you ready for me when you next come see me. Either way: I look forward to seeing you again Ms. Secretary." With that he'd simply head out the door, setting things up just enough. Of course he prayed she'd go all in, but one couldn't blame the girl should she wish to pull back now. And yes, he meant to leave the coat with her. She'd most likely still find this weather rather chilly, given the light rain falling from the sky. He'd rip the sleeves from his shirt and grin as he made his way home simply whistling to the tune of "Singing in the Rain" whilst almost skipping about in to the puddles of water.
