well, im an old fart, but when i went to seminary (my attnedence wasnt perfect)(not by a longshot) but maybe to make you feel better, it was a 30 min drive to where seminary was, and it startred at 6.....my paretns house was on the outskirts of that ward at the time....and i went to a differnt school than everyone else and was the only mormon in my school in an area where the bapbtist preacher still ranted about "joe smith's gold bible" when ever mormons got brought up......
anyways...that was kindof a rant.....

I finish seminary about two months ago. I miss it alot, even if I had to wake up at 4:15 each day. crying

Or have any pointers for moi? i finished seminary last year, if its early morning stuff, get to bed EARLY.........early early early is good good good for morning seminary.......another thing, dont constantly quote movies when the teacher is trying to teach, it doesnt go over very well wink keep notes and mark your scriptures, it comes in handy.....have faith young one, you'll be just fine....

I started yesterday. I can't say that I complain about the time, then again, for me it's my seventh per. So far, it seems fun enough. Only time will really tell though.

seminary is great. The fact that you lose sleep is nothing compared to what you learn if your heart is open. The Spirit will be willing to teach.

I am going into my third year, and I don't imagine that I could love it any more than I do! Not only is it the perfect start to my day, but I learn more about the scriptures than I would on my own. I love scripture mastery, especially the Bible ones, though, because they are good to use on investigators. They prove the Book of Mormon true using the book that everybody else tries to use to prove that it is false, which I just ADORE. I was also challenged to read the entire NT last year. I did it everyday for Seminary's sake at first, tehn I developed a genuine loveof the scriptures. That is priceless. Just reading the scriptures every day made me a happier person.
It is very hard, but I have to just go to bed early, which means I need to be careful in setting my priorities. I have to make sure that I do my homework before bed, and sometimes that means no internet time, which is hard for me. But it is worth it. You can't replace what you get from going to Seminary.
*squeal* I just find it impossible to say how I feel about wonderful, beautiful, early morning seminary! I do take scripture chase a little too seriously though...oh well, I was one of three scripture chase champs in my stake this year.

I usually have a lot of homework (plus i get on Gaia for too long) so I''m up very late (past 12:00). But I really enjoy seminary, even if i have to get up before 6 every day.

well, I live in UT, so my sem. stats when school does, 8:10, but if it makes youfeel any better I get up at 6:30, leave my house at 7 and walk there, I get there about 7:30, and read scripture usualy, because I like being in the sem building more then almost any place, ^.^ so, ya.... lol, ^.^ but I love semanary, I keep all the handouts my teachers give me and use them for lessons later, like FHE and stuff ^.^ lol., ya, theres my 2 cense, ^.^
