The manga, Hana Yori Dango (a.k.a. Boys Over Flowers), seems to be really popular with drama adaptations. In Taiwan, there was Meteor Garden, Meteor Garden II, and a series spin-off called Meteor Rain. In Japan, we had Hana Yori Dango, Hana Yori Dango II, and the movie Hana Yori Dango: Final. Edited 1/7/09Now, it's Korea's turn. The show is set to have 24 70-minute episodes and will air in January of 2009. It sounds long though. Well not if you count both seasons for MG. But if you compare to the first seasons only. xD

When I first heard about it they said 2009 I'm happy it's fall 2008
Can't wait it's the only drama i'm looking forward to! also saw on a few sites that Kim Hyun Joong was going to play the part of Rui.

Ok, I watched the first four episodes, and, though I really hated the beginning, it's very enjoyable. Lee Min Ho is a wonderful actor. He really plays the role well.
They're sticking closer to the manga than the Japanese version so I'm happy about that. ^_^

One of the women who played in the trio that were constantly messing with Jan Di committed suicide on March 7th. Jang Ja Yun, she was 27, if I'm not mistaken. I read somewhere that she left a note, but I don't know anything about it. R.I.P.

At episode 20, I'm still absolutely loving it! It totally rocks the socks off of the Japanese version, in my eyes, but then again. so does Meteor Garden, which is still my favorite. I love Hye Sun and Min Ho, but Jerry and Barbie will forever be the best Hana Yori Dango couple for me.

one word to say about this drama. i love it!! okay maybe three words but yea lol the guys in there r really handsome..i juz wish i could grab one for myself.. biggrin
