Welcome to the Embassy Chamber, you are now in the Reception Lobby. Here, details will be given as to proper Ambassador conduct, credentials, and protocols. You may also quickly introduce yourself here, but you are encouraged to move on into the heart of the Embassy at the earliest convenience.

Conduct
Politeness and respect are the largest parts of this guild, for without them even the most rudimentary politics would be impossible. Ambassadors are expected to be polite and open-minded throughout another delegate's presentation.

Credentials
Ambassadors must be open to new ideas and negotiations, and be level-headed. Perhaps surprisingly, an Ambassador that is willing to concede his immediate gain may find himself held in higher respect among the other ambassadors: First and foremost, however, the interests of serentiy and his own guild's benefits must be at the forefront of his mind.
-Previous Crew or Captain status in other guilds, even the one you hail from, will not place you above or below another member: ONLY Moral Merit.
-Crew or Captain status does not place anyone here above or make them immune to humility: Everyone's faults and traits are representative of their home guild, and that goes for this guild, as well, pertaining to the Captain and Chancellors who represent this Embassy.

Protocol
In order to maintain a reasonable sense of who one is talking to, it is asked that at the top of any and every post you make, you place, in bold and centered letters, your Guild's abbreviations followed by "Ambassador", or you may simply choose to opt for only your guild's abbreviations.

Punishment
Should an Ambassador display rude, obscene, ignorant, or otherwise "distasteful" behavior, ONE Warning will be given. An ambassador can tolerate 2 warnings before he/she is banned upon the next offense ((for reference, Chancellors [Crew] can only tolerate 1 Warning, and at the next flounder, they get demoted)). Records pertaining to Warnings are kept in the Database Subforum.

Regeneration of Trust
Should you have any number of warnings, there are ways to eliminate them. The most logical way to prove that you have learned your lesson from a warning is to display model behavior and a high level of clairvoyance for a total of 14 consecutive days ((2 straight weeks)). If this is done, a Warning will be removed from you. ((for reference, a Mod may lose 1 warning only once every month)) Exceptions may be made, such as difficult times inside your own home-guild --which the Embassy should know about, so that we may help-- or a difficult time in real-life, in which case I hope you opt to put a social-networking site onto the back burner.
