"This is ridiculous. I don't need phychiatric help!!" proclaimed Arukoru as they walked into the front door. Ancelin was behind him with her arms crossed, shaking her head. "You knew this was coming Aru. Did you think Shi was just going to let you drink and smoke your entire life away?" "I thought she was going to let me make my own decissions. And then she goes and tells me I have an appointment with someone named Jaelle to talk about my 'emotional issues'. This is an insult!" "This is good parenting." Ancelin said. "Now go check yourself in."
Aru began grumbling as he walked up to the front counter and began filling in the sign in sheet. Ancelin rolled her eyes, it was a good thing she came along, otherwise Aru would of probably flaked on the appointment.
The woman at the front desk, another member of the Grastari family, pointed out where Aru was to sign, before smiling almost cheekily and speaking to the young man, who was sort of throwing a fit. "Actually, she goes by Dr. Grastari, until you commit to more than one session." That was simply because Jaelle gave everything to her patients. She was actually going to be going to one of their houses, later, because the young woman, Tabitha, had gotten into another bar fight and needed some nursing. Getting counselled by Dr. J Grastari was like entering her family. Her clan.
While Aru was at the front desk, a bald little boy with golden hoops in his pointed ears and a long shirt tied at his waist toddled up to Ancelin, tiny fingers gripping her skirt when he almost fell over. He was ******** adorable, despite large red eyes. His huge grin helped make him cute.
Ancelin nodded his head as he signed the paper, going into professional mode once he was actually speaking to an assosiate. "Ah.. Thank you. I didn't know her last name." he said, brushing his bangs out from his eye so he could read better.
Ancelin turned her attention away from Aru when she felt something tug on her skirt. She looked down and spotted a small boy. "Aww, why hello there." She said as she kneeled down, looking to the boy. "Don't I know you from somewhere? I swear I recognized those cute swirls on your face."
"Ah, that is Nicolae. He is the doctor's adoptive son, a pomegranate boy. A great blessing to our clan." The receptionist smiled happily at the boy. Pomegranates meant a lot to the romany clans, and was a mystical, honored fruit. When Aru finished the paperwork, she typed a few things into her computer, looked it over, and directed him to go up the elevator to the eighth floor, which led to Jaelle's current office. "I'll let her know you're coming, sir."
Nicu remembered her, vaugely from his past, but he couldn't exactly tell her so. Instead the little boy took one of her hands, touching it to the swirls with a cheerful laugh. Nicolae was a lot happier with the gypsies. They knew his soul. "Ants..! ANTS!" He was attempting what he remembered of her name.
Aru looked back to Ancelin and the small child, well, at least he knew she'd be entertained during his hour long session. He nodded a thank you to the receptionist and walked towards the elevator, muttering quietly under his breath. How could Tenshi do this to him? There was nothing wrong with him at all!
When Ancelin heard the words 'pomegranate boy' it instantly clicked. He was who she thought he was. "Oh yeah! You're like me then, I knew I'd seen you before." She said with a nod, before she begin to trace the boys markings with her thumbs. His skin was very pleasantly soft. "Ants? I don't have any ants.. But there where some in the parking lot swarming around an abandoned Macs fry box." she said, maybe he saw them earlier? An wasn't the best at decifering what children wanted to say.
Nicu scowled at her, shaking his little bald head firmly. No, not ants. Ance! Dropping the subject, the small boy grabbed her skirt again, using it to stablize himself as he pulled at her to go toward the play area. There were lots of toys and play-doh and kiddy books and even a small television! Nicolae knew the play area quite well, indeed.
Jaelle was in her office, stylish glasses of blue-green eyes, her tan skin and long, curly black hair contrasting pleasantly with full curves and a pretty face. Not exactly the type of gorgeous you'd expect to be your shrink. She was reading reports at her desk when the receptionist buzzed her, letting her know of Aru's arrival. When he came in, she looked up, gave him a soothing smile, and spoke, her tone warm and calm.
"Hello, Arukoru. My name is Jaelle Grastari. Would you like to take a seat?" There was an extremely comfortable chair empty in front of her desk.
Arukoru was going to immediately begin protesting his being there when he walked into the door, but something suddenly changed his mind when Dr. Grastari smiled at him. To be put simply, Aru was someone who was easily swayed by pretty women. What with being a hormone driven and affection denied emo child that he was. "Uh.. Yes ma'em. Thank you." He said as he went over to the chair and sat. He then laced his hands in his lap, and sat straight, with almost too perfect posture.
Ancelin smiled and stood up, following after the boy as he lead her into the play area. "Do you want to play?" she asked as she looked to see what the play area had. It had been a while before she took all her old childhood toys to a consinment store to be sold. But when she was younger she loved playing with doll houses and the train sets that where typically kept at doctors offices. "What would you like to play with, Nicolae?"
"Why don't we start by getting our intentions out in the open, mmn?" Shutting her laptop, she folded her hands over the top, giving him a friendly look. "Why are you here, Arukoru? Don't be afraid to be honest."
The pomegranate boy grabbed a box of brightly colored building blocks, dumping the entire thing onto the floor as he dropped down onto his bottom to spread them out and examine. They should build something. "Bwaah!" Nicu was pretty damn excited. A bright red block and golden yellow block were in his hands and he began trying to fit them together.
"Uh..." Arukoru muttered, before he looked at the ground. "My adoptive mother sent me here today because she says that I'm on a road to destruction and I need to work out my issues so I'll stop using alchohol, cigerates and loud terrible screamo music to solve my problems." Aru explained, most of it a word for word quote from what Tenshi had explained to him when she first told him about the appointment.
Ancelin sat down on the ground with her legs folded under her behind as Nicu dumped out the blocks. She then reached down and picked up a purple and green block, before she fitted them together. "Do you want to make a tower?" She asked, before she eyed the blocks again and spotted a couple wheels. "Or we could make a car. Or a mobile home." she said, the last being a combination of her first two ideas.
"Well, I'm here to help you discover what you need, not what other people think you need. I'm here to listen to you. Does that sound alright?" Another sweet smile, and she got a pen and notebook, leaning toward him, head tilted slightly. Her voice was nonjudgemental. Simply curious.
"Why don't you tell me about the alcohol, cigarettes, any possible drugs, and music? What types do you like? Why?"
Nicolae had no idea what a mobile home was. Instead, he began slamming blocks together. He wanted them to touch the roof!

Aru looked back up to the woman and his posture slowly relaxed. He rested his body into the back of the chair and then let his arms lay out over the arm rests. His fingers idly picked at the edges of the seems. "I've never done any illigal drugs." Just ignore the fact he was underage and all. "Just liquor, cigerates and cigars." He said, before he tilted his head. What kinds did he like? His face lit up with a bright smile.
"I love all kinds. It really depends on what I'm in the mood for. My favorite though is vodka, I love it. I can't believe people mix it with other drinks like orange juice, it's great just the way it is! A nice subtle burn, but not too overwhelming like with tequila. But when I don't want to get plastered I just sip on Bush beer. Goes down nice and smooth and you can go threw almost an entire case without getting buzzed." well, Aru had a higher tolerance level than most, seeing as he had been drinking it ever since he was a baby and all.
---------
Ancelin watched was Nico was doing and simply assumed he wanted to make a tower when the blocks didn't take any real shape or form. So she started connecting more blocks together until it was a good foot long, and went to add it to what Nicolae had already.

Jaelle laughed. "I'm personally a fan of rum, and red wine." Raising an eyebrow, she tapped her pen against her bottom lip before posing another question. "As for the beer, though. Isn't the point to become buzzed, Arukoru? Or do you simply enjoy the flavor? In that case, there are nonalcoholic beers."
She wrote something on her pad. "Why do you enjoyed being drunk?" A pause. "What types of cigars and cigarettes do you enjoy?" Jaelle smoked cloves.
Nicolae looked awestruck as the tower quickly grew to be far taller than he. Attempting to put another block on the stack, he bumped into it... Causing it to wobble... wobble... and fall right toward his little body. Uh-oh.

Aru thought for a few minutes. "Well, I know there's non-alcoholic beer.. I sometimes drink it, but it just isn't the same as a real beer. The alcohol helps mellow me out, but I don't always want to be s**t-faced ether." he explained. Then he pondered the next question.
"I just feel happy when I'm drunk. When I'm not, I'm miserable. The alcohol is like my own anti-depressant, even though I know liquor is technically a depressant. As for cigerates and cigars. I smoke Kools. Sometimes regular, sometimes menthol. Depends on what I'm drinking at the time. As for cigars.. definitely not Sweets. I can't stand those."
--------------
When Ancelin saw that the tower was about to fall she quickly sprung up and grabbed the blocks from the top, trying to steady them. She instead managed to break the tower in half and bonk herself in the head. With a grunt she released the blocks and let them tumble to the ground, before she began caressing her cheek. It wasn't a big deal, just surprised her. They where child-safe blocks after all. "Maybe we should make a base for our tower to keep it stable." she said, looking down to the boy.
