Alright, to start this off I'm asking what you did for your SPRING BREAK!
Okay, you've had time to think on what you did... I can boast on what I did.
I went tooooo
EGYPT
Yeahh thats right. If your a friend on FACEBOOK, you can see some pictures from the trip.
So, to sum up the trip in only single words: -hot -sandy -dry -historical -tiring -annoying,
well at least the street vender's were. Annoying, that is.
i touched the great pyramids! and got stuff! and my neck got burnt. and I got a light tan everywhere else. Camels smell really bad. and the egyption men are really creepy.
thank you kyle for being my "husband"/partner for the trip.
NAITO: GO TO SCHOOL ON WEDS IF POSSIBLEEE!!!!

Awesome! I was wondering where you were! I'm totally going to check out those pics. My dad went to Libya last year on a business trip, and brought desert sand and desert roses back for Bacardia and me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desert_rose_(crystal)But Libya is a dangerous place, so it wasn't a fun trip for him, but certainly an experience. I couldn't go to Egypt myself. My friends want to plan a trip there, but I don't think I could handle the heat. I think I'd rather visit Marrakesh or Casablanca, Moracco if I had to go to a hot Muslim country. So why did you go there?

My spring break was uh non-existant. We don't get breaks in the middle of the semester at SFU. gonk
I know what you mean about vendors! I remember them from Europe, but I'd imagine they'd only be 10 times worse in Egypt. @___@ Persistent folk! haha.
I'm with Zath on the heat thing. xd I'd much rather go somewhere mild, like Scotland again. Wetlands = my homelands. I'm not big on looking like a tomato or sweating like nuts. Buuut ooooh the history! I would like to go there just to look at the amazing buildings/infrastructure! If only teleportation was possible...heheh.

Hmm, it was Spring Break already? Haha, guess that shows what I did, a lot of nothing.
I don't think I'd like to go to Egypt because of the heat as well, I'd prefer to go someplace cooler. I hear Antarctica is nice this time of year.

Having dealt with Latin street vendors you have my sympathy. I HATE you for going to Egypt talk2hand talk2hand I wanna go crying crying crying
Ok, crying aside, here is what happened on my Spring Break, which started three days early in the hopes of saving what is left of my sanity.
~Road trip with mom and gamma with a break for the most DELICIOUS Ruben (corned beef, sauerkraut and swiss cheese on rye bread, toasted) ~Spending time with my fiance ~Freaking people out at IKEA (See pictures thread) ~Getting beautiful, thoughtful jewelry for my b-day ~Being reassured that I'm not an incompetent teacher and that it often is the students' fault that they fail miserably ~Spending time with my little sister ~Having coffee with my mistress ~Getting a new corset (olive green) ~SLEEPING!!!! ~Getting a bunch of new herbs and herb books (I'm an apprentice herbalist) ~Finding my wedding dress heart heart heart heart heart heart heart
I enjoyed my weekish off and am somewhat glad to be back at work, though this may change in the coming days hee hee.

I don't even get spring break since my schools schedule is all weird. I get three months of classes, 2 week break, three more months of classes, another 2 week break, and so on, until I graduate, which will be in June of this year.

Dale and I went to Baltimore, a city about an hour away. It was awesome.
-got bumped from a standard room to an amazing suite for free -went to the aquarium -went to the circus -went to the zoo -took a ton of walks -ate at Tir Na Nog (awesome Irish Bar and Grill)
We had a ton of fun. It was chilly and windy but still a lot of fun. The bums asking for money CONSTANTLY was a little annoying but ah well.
Dale and I want to go to Ireland and Europe one day but Egypt sounds fun too. I'm another one who wouldn't like the heat but it still sounds fun.
