(( Here's a thread for rp between Daevia and Raaj, to hopefully have her become a member. ))
Daevia awoke suddenly, panting heavily on the forest floor. It was that dream again. It had been driving her this way for weeks now. She slowly got up, shook the last of the sleep from her body and continued to move forward. Soon she caught the scent of a new territory. But the dream would not let her stop and she dedicatedly stepped past that invisible line. She was SO close now.

While wandering not too far away from the temple, the lands had been warming up significantly. The grass was starting to grow taller, as Raajmuat could feel it beat against his ankles, before it was barely past his paws. Though, it wasn't the growing of the grass that had caught the basilisk's attention, rather it was a very faint scent that caught him. It seems that a few banthis had been attracted to this place, and it made him very pleased. Curious to the source of the scent, he wandered in the direction in which he had pinpointed it coming from. Just as long as the banthi didn't leave before he could speak to the newcomer, then he'd be content.

Daevia had been driven ever since she reached adulthood. Her adopted family had no idea what was going on when she suddenly started knowing things days before they happened. The others thought she was a demon sent to destroy them but they had been too scared at the time to act but then she managed to predict the exact manor that the Alpha would die. Her fate was unclear at that point, she spent days holed up in her den pacing, waiting for them to come and destroy her. Then the vision she'd been dreading happened, she was to leave immediately, that was 5 days ago and she hadn't stopped since. Her vision luckily took her close to water and safe napping points, but with her fasting her visions had become more clear. This was her path, this is were it was safe, now whether that's the truth is yet to be seen.

With a slight turn, the basilisk stopped in his tracks as Raajmuat caught a strong whiff of the scent. So the other banthi was close. He calmly walked off towards the source of the scent, like this was something he did all the time. His ears were perked forward as he called out softly, 'My, isn't it a lovely day for traveling?' It was more of a rhetorical question than any, but it was a chance for him to get his presence know to the other banthi and to determine the purpose or motive behind the other banthi...as well as gender.

The voice startled Daevia and she froze where she stood. "I suppose if I was merely traveling it would be." Her voice sounded raspy, and warey. She turned slowly as she spoke to face the voice. Before her stood a male she'd never seen before and yet he was SO familiar. "I know you." The statement was simple there was no malice but a hint of surprise. Her mind whirled quickly trying to place him. It was then that she noticed that she didn't feel driven to move. " I've arrived?!" And with that her legs gave out beneath her. " I apologize for my strange behavior, my name is Daevia, and the visions have brought me here. To you!" With those words she rested her head on her paws and took a few moments to catch her breath and relax abit.

As the banthi had replied, Raajmuat picked up instantly that the newcomer was female. This made his very wary, as his distrust of females is still rather strong. But, the words that this one spoke took him by surprise. This was definitely something he was not anticipating at all. Though it wasn't something he deemed impossible, as there were things out there that even the basilisk couldn't fully explain. But, with his prior experience, it made regular banthis unlikely to have such talents unless they were of reptilian origin...and then it clicked. Another snake banthi! It wouldn't make sense to him that other banthis knew about him because he had kept himself rather reclusive to the outside world, only those that he came in contact with knew about him.
The very thought made his face light up as he turned his milky eyes towards the female. 'Is that so?' It would be a lie to say that he wasn't curious in the very least. The only other banthi he knew of having talents was Reika. This is definitely a pleasant surprise. 'I have not come across another banthi with visions in such a long time, Daevia. Therefore this makes me very intrigued,' He couldn't help but ask a few of the many questions he had starting to formulate in his head. 'Were you looking for our lands? Our temple likes to call out to those of similar nature to our own.'

Daevia felt much better now that she had rested for a moment. She sat up and looked the male over. She noticed how similiar the two of them were and yet how different. "Yes I've seen you before, in one of my visions. You're the Alpha in this area, yes I smell that now." At the mention of thier lands and the temple her ears twitched anxiously. "Yes, they've called me for awhile now but only recently did they drive me here. Again I do apologize for entering your territory, but when they took over I could not stop myself."

With a flick of his tail, Raajmuat dismissed the female's apology. It wasn't his place to question the deities and their involvement on other banthis, even if that meant that new banthis would encroach on their land. 'Don't apologize for something that you are not able to control, it was the deities that decided to bring you here.' Kiesha'Ra must be looking down on his clan at the moment, to bring so many reptiles back home here.
Softly, 'It's nice to know that the deities haven't fully abandoned us, that a few of us are still talented in special ways.' He paused to ask, 'Were you looking to visit the temple then, or was it for a different matter that you've been brought here?'

Daevia paused for a moment trying to sort through the memories and withdraw the info that the male wanted." I've come here to help you in your goal. There are more of us scattered about and with a growing clan guidance is always needed. I would be honored to serve Kiesha'Ra here with you and your tribe." She waited patiently, her tail moved slowly side to side like a snake's crawl.

Ears perked forward as Raajmuat took in the female's words. Was she serious? Or was she just trying to trick him and have a her own hidden agenda. He mulled over it for a brief moment. He still needed more members to help grow his clan. Plus, wether he wanted to admit it or not, she could be useful.
His tail flicked slightly before he nodded his head, 'How can I deny such a request?' A brief pause, 'There are some things that I cannot go against, and if the deities wish for you to be here in their service, then who am I to go against their wishes?'
His head turned slightly as he had his milky gaze lingering on the rocky formation just off in the distance. 'Our numbers are still small, but we are all connected,' He closed his eyes before continuing, 'You are more than welcome to stay here, I ask that you respect the customs that we hold. And with your talent, you will be a welcomed addition to the clan.'

Daevia bowed humbly before the Alpha. "I thank you. And I believe that your numbers will grow, how much is still unclear." The visions weren't always so clear, but they always seemed to make sense when the need arises. "Do your members visit the temple often?" Her tone was laced with curiousity.

With a slight nod of his head, Raajmuat heard the female's words. While it could seem like she wanted to flatter him, he knew that the future wasn't always certain and things could change. Afterall, his mother was special and this was one of the many talents that she herself, had held. Though, the female's question came not without wary. Should he be taking a complete stranger to the temples? But, she had come to join, though he did not trust easily. But, she held the nature of the snake, the same as he and thus, if he was to help rebuild a strong and proud pride, then he would need all the help he can get.
He paused to think for a moment, before he turned to the female and nodded, 'Of course, that is where we all reside in. The main cavern is where the statues are of our deities, and connected to there are little caverns. Each cavern has a purpose or use, even if they are not being used because of our numbers at the moment. So at any given time, there are members in or around the temple.' Adding an afterthought, 'We can't have outsiders soiling our sacred temple, and with the recent additions of cubs, we can't be too careful.'

Daevia nodded as the Alpha gave his explanation of the layout. She could sense his wariness towards her but she knew that only time could fix that. "Cubs?! Oh, how wonderful! How many? And how are the parents doing?" She liked cubs, they tended to be nicer to her, well until they were scared by the others. She shook her head to rid herself of those past thoughts. She sighed once again but this time it was a sigh of relief, no one would call her monster again.

At the female's excited words, Raajmuat couldn't help but to smirk inwardly. It was a common occurence with most females, their love for cubs. He replied, 'My healer and his mate had cubs not too long ago, though I think they are grown by now. But recently, I found a little lizard cub wandering around and took him in,' He paused before his voice lit up at the words following, 'We were even blessed by finding a gem within the temple. I think the two little ones are about the same age now. While they do not have actual blood parents, everyone in the clan pitches in to help raise them. It takes not only the parents but the help of the clan to raise a cub.' He was proud of the growth of his clan, his posture and voice spoke volumes over his words.
Perhaps he felt something towards the female, but whatever it was he could feel something draw him to her. It made him speak more so than he normally would, since in most instants he wouldn't go into so much detail. But with Daevia, there was more than meets the eye. As his milky eyes rested on the female, he decided to test the waters, 'Have you seen the temple in your visions before?'

She glanced at the male without moving her head. " I've seen parts. Mostly a room here and there, but I couldn't find my way to a specific place without help." Granteed she normally gave truthful answers even if they were in roundabout ways but he was her Alpha now and he would always get straight answers from her.
