Oooh I had never seen their outfits before. Very nifty. Maybe I'll get some one day. I'm a much bigger fan of skirts.

I own at least ten pairs of Melodia's pants, so I'm not exactly an unbiased reviewer mrgreen

These are the most comfortable and flattering pants you will ever put on, in bellydance and out. I have a friend who wears a size 18, and she looks just as good in them as I do, and I'm a size 1. There are a lot of cheap versions of these pants out there, and I must say, they just don't fit the same way as the melo's. Everyone's butt looks good in them. They are a bit pricey, but you're not jsut paying for some mass-produced item that can be found anywhere. Melodia designed them, marketed, and sewed them herself. The other cool thing about her fancier pants is that she only does limited runs of different fabrics, so you have to get them when you see them, or the next time they might be there. This might sound like a deterrent, but it's really cool to have a pair of her older ones that not everyone else owns. She also did a collaboration with Rising Phoenix and is making batik versions, as well.

There's even a group on Tribe.net where you can see other customer reviews, photos, and even see the new things she's coming out with. I think she has a store on Ebay, as well.

I wear them a lot outside of dancing because they are so comfortable - like wearing your pajama bottoms all day but with more style whee

Within bellydance classes, they are handy because the pants are close-fitting enough that my students can see my knees. On moves where they need to see what my feet are doing, I knot the split flares around my knees.

oh i know. after just graduated, money is tight. so now, i'm waiting for the check to clear and its being stupid!
