I need the the notes of the Goldberg Variations by Bach (all of them). does anyone have them and can scan them for me or direct me to an online source?

I guess this should be the official request thread? if anyone needs notes, recordings or any other musical related thing can ask here.

I'm looking for the Dichter und Bauer (Poet and Peasant) overture by von Suppe. I've got the cello solo in an orchestral excerpts book but I've never heard the whole thing.

Actually, I bought a CD with it a day after I posted that. sweatdrop There was a CD sale at my school and all the classical CDs were $5. I got four classical CDs (two are from obscure labels, but they sound OK ^_^ ) and the Barenaked Ladies' "Maroon."

Thank you, though. I have a lot of music I could send people, too.

do you want the sheet music?

I only learnt the one [because it sounded cool]...

I learnt mine using midi editors to open a midi of the pieces. Does this appeal to you?

I actually used a midi editor to open a midi version of the variations... so I don't need it anymore. I actually needed the bass line much more then I needed the variations themselves.

I'm looking for sheet music for "Caprice Americain" by Gottschalk. It's really My Old Kentucky Home, as far as I know... my friend said he was looking for it a long time ago and I'd like to surprise him. I've scoured the internet for it but I can't seem to find anywhere that has it. sad

I'm looking for a "Jazz Fugue". I know there's one but I can't remember the composer's name.

If anyone is looking for a particular classical piece in MP3 form I might have it. I have around 60+ Gigs of the stuff, including nearly complete collections of certain composers such as Beethoven.

Yeah, I know it is not quite legal, but being a music collector and short on cash, I made multiple raids on the university library and converted the ones I like in digital form. Though I rationalize that 1) classical music doesn't take up a large portion in music sales and 2) the labels tend to fold quickly or get absorbed into another such as the Laserlight line or CBS records which I have owned multiple discs of.

I do plan on owning the CDs I have ripped some day when I have plenty of money to do so.

But if anyone is interested in taking a listen before committing to getting it in physical form.
