New peripheral means instant buy. Even if it will be sub-par compared to games perfect for the DS like EBA and not as good as the console games, a new peripheral will make it worth buying. If I was around in the NES generation, I'd have a R.O.B., the Power Glove, and every other odd add-on to the system. lol
