Since Ty is a minder, what would be the way Sentinel carry their young, fluffs especially? I've seen some other Sentinel carry them in baskets. Would Minders have a stock of baskets to use to carry them with? I'm having a hard time deciding how Ty could get his latest charge from the main platform to his tree without too much hassle.

Well... It's usually safe to assume that you Sentinel knows more about it than you do. It might sound boring, but when in doubt - do a timeskip or gloss over it. Things like flying, transporting fledglings, mixing dye or medicine... You can safely assume that your Sentinel/Minder/Artisan/Apothecary knows how to do it. If you have a special interest for herbal medicine, natural dyes or avian health it might be fun to really RP the details, but you don't have to.
Possible solutions that have been used in RP already: basket, some kind of harness to carry in, timeskip.
Other possibilities: Stuff the fluff down a gatherers pack or similar, hold close to the body using will.
It’s more difficult to carry a dangling basket beneath the body than to carry something closer to the body that can share its centre of gravity so a harness or pack would be easier. See also the posts in Slanders Q/A thread about how much a Sentinel could carry with their will and in their talons. Feel free to ask here or ping a PM to the Herald if you're unsure if your idea would work!
