Kingdom Hearts 2. Atlantica already pretty much sucked, and then we get to Ursula, and I'm thinking "PLEASE! LET ME FIGHT HER!" And what do I get to do? Play a lame rhythm game to kill her. xp I hated that battle.

“Mr. Darkness and Mrs. Moonlight, baby, I love you so much I could die!”

Oh Lawd. I know what you mean.
I wanted to fight her as well! DX

My biggest disappointment wasn't a boss battle, but an ending.

I played through three discs of Shenmue, on the Dreamcast,
and after ALL the build up and all the crap you have to go through to get a ticket to China,
he boards the ship, it sets sail, and they roll the credits.

Magical Girl Yossy

The chessboard battle is one of my favorite parts of the game.
It's easy, yes, but the idea of it is just cool!

I love that battle. I beat it in like, 5 minutes though. Silly king ran up and attacked me outright.

I'm not exactly sure... but there a lot of battles, I think a lot in Crisis Core lately, that I look at the game twice... 'Did that just happen?' Happens to me a lot, thou

My worst boss battle was Omega in Final Fantasy X.

It was in the Omega Ruins (freaky place, that), the monsters were freakishly strong, and I anticipated a good battle.

I killed him with Ifrit, Ifrit, and I didn't even get to have Kimahri use his Ronso-steally move to get Meteor.

I was so put out...

I'd say some of the bosses in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Ok, they were fun and entertaining: I just think sometimes I was expecting them to be a little harder.

The last boss battle with Marluxia in Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories.
I found that too be easy, but long.
Even Riku's Replica was harder than him in my opinion.

Oh yeah.

The Wand of Gamelon and Zelda's Adventure.

Seriously folks. Every series has its black sheep *glares at Shining Tears, Shining Force Neo, and Shining Force EXA* but COME ON. That was just PATHETIC.

mine was more in Devil may Cry 4...you fight these relatively hard bosses as Nero...then u have to back track and fight the exact same boss as Dante...and ok it should be fun cuz u have new attacks but still...the same bosses...and the last boss was awesome...until they made you do a chunk with Nero and all u have to do is use the devil bringer like 3 times...

Agreed.. to be honest i thought that Devil may cry 4 would be much better than it was

Crisis Core's battle system really disappointed me. It's not really that difficult... there's no complexity involved. Basically, it's "X, X, X... low HP, R, X, L, X, X, X..." Button mashing to the extreme. The only vaguely difficult battle is the one in Nibelheim, where you have to beat him fast enough so that you don't fall off and get a game over. Then there's the 1000 SOLDIER battle, and Minerva... but the last two are only hard because of the incredible length. The actual gameplay is so freaking easy...

But the cutscenes and the characters are just too stunning to miss. Oh, how I covet my copy of Crisis Core. domokun

Most disappointing boss battle for me was in FFX; your second battle with Seymour, in Bevelle.
I beefed up a whole bunch in the hallway right before the battle, went in with Tidus, Kimahri, and Yuna (with her Grand Summon on the back burner), toyed with him for a few turns, brought in Auron with his overdrive, smacked him a good one, then Grand Summoned Shiva, Diamond Dust and it was DONE.
I fell over laughing. I wanted way more of a fight than that. =(

Second most disappointing boss battle, Magaki from King of Fighters XI. That fight makes me frown in so many ways. You have to do nothing but assault him for the entire battle, cause if he gets any openings a third of your health bar is gone. God mode anyone?
