okay, i got the HDD and the Network adapter installed, now i am lost >< i put in the player online/tetra master cd, and it ask's me to reinstall the thing, and i set-up my connection, but um how do i goto player online? and i should have everything installed alreay, but the thing wont let me on line? i have dial up should i use chap, chat or what ever? this is highly confusing, sorry

Right now FFXI is down for maintenance for the night so you won't be able to get into it at all even if you got it working. But once you installed it from the CD, you restart your ps2 without the CD in there, then you check your browser and you should see a HDD icon, click on that, then go to playonline icon in that, and then you got to set it up from that with your new content ID, address info, credit card info, etc. etc.

Did ya format the HDD with the utility disk?
