What are your views on sex? (share it all - homosexuality, pre-marital sex, the sexual revolution, ...)
PostPosted: Thu Mar 20, 2008 5:13 pm

My views on...

-Premarital sex: not a big deal.
-Teenagers and sex: If you get pregnant, or impregnate someone, it's your fault. Deal with it like an adult. If you thought you were mature enough to have sex, then you should be mature enough to deal with the situation.
-Homosexuality: Doesn't affect me. Let them love/do who they want.
-Sex [general]: People should only have sex when they're ready and mature enough to deal with all that sex comes with: responsibility.
-P.D.A.'s [public displays of affection]: Don't get too carried away/annoying.

I'll add to this. xd

Any sex is fine with me, so long as it's between consenting adults, and private. But, what do y'all think the age of consent should be? It's 16 here in New Zealand, but I dunno, 18 seems more suitable to me.

Apparantly New Zealand women are the most promiscuous in the world. Averaging 20.4 sexual partners. The global average was 7.3. eek

Sex, eh?

Prostitution laws: "What don't ya like, the sex or the money?" Said by a good friend of mine, Carol Geltemeyer. Should be legal.

Premarital sex: Should be taken more seriously than it is but shouldn't be criminalized either

Age of consent: Needs to be flexible. That a guy who is 17 1/2 can be in jail and get listed as a sexual predator for doing it with his girl is ludicrous to say the least. I don't like the idea of teens doing it but I also know the quickest way to get teens to do something is to ban it.

GLBT: Not an issue. If a hetero couple is up in arms about the state of marriage because of GLBT unions then it's the heteros who need counseling. Allow gay marriage, or get the government out of the issue altogether and issue marriage documents by individuals (perhaps as a notarized document?)

Sex-- can be good, can be sacred-estatic, can be a chore. Take it from an old married fart.

Sex ed- Teens should be taught abstinence and safer sex. A teen should know all the options available to them. Furthermore, they should have birth control available to them. Which is worse: your daughter buying a condom, or her getting pregnant?

Yeah, her getting pregnant because she didn't even know birth control existed, because no one taught her about sex and birth-prevention.

Yeah, there are places you can go to to get all the info, but they're not advertised.
It kind of defeats the purpose of birth control and whatnot.

PERSONALLY im fine with any sex...just not in public,
PDA-as long as your not sucking face im fine with it.

age of consent-id say 16 is fair. I dont know why 18? 16 and 17yr olds would have sex anyway except that time it would be illegal.

AND i had no idea......................Geez 20.4..........................seems like ALOT

Premarital- not a problem, if you want to, go ahead
Teens- for one teach safe sex along with abstinence policies because yes you say "say no to sex" but hey were teens you don't supervise us all the time its going to happen then leave us prepared. For example, at my school there were 12 pregnancies this year, last year....2.
LGBT- Let us have rights(us as in i am bi myself)Hate Crimes Legis., Adoption,
Tax filings, and Marriage
General- its up to every person its not like its that bad 90% have premarital sex, so its not like it doesnt happen or hollywood is to blame.
PDA- ok for this one, leave it inside.....
