He could quiet easily imagine the Zrun's expression and demeanor at the news of Mecriana growing and figuring it out herself, as he had seemed quite the eccentric little fellow the last time they met. A bob of his head, a snort as a sort of chuckle, and he hoped with Mec's question that Sanue wouldn't say something to her he himself wouldn't. He didn't want any of his friends to get in on this sort of thing with Zak. The fewer the better, as the brute may very well harm one of them without thought. Especially not Mecriana, she was young and just starting her adulthood, no chance he was letting her end it so quickly. Yes, he knew the risks of dealing with a murderous stallion. He himself may very well... best not finish that thought. It wouldn't come to that, he wouldn't allow it.
However his fear was realized as Sanue mentioned the favor. A slight twince of Aitumn's shoulder muscle showing that it had bothered him, but nothing more on his external messages. Hopefully Mec wouldn't draw on the subject, for he would tell if she didn't ask, he even then he likely wouldn't talk about it with her.
Still, best to cover his bases. "What do you plan on doing now that you can be an adult?" Honestly did she even know how to fly yet? It was an amusing thought, but if that was so he didn't have the time to teach her. He needed to get back to his family, quickly, and wouldn't stand for a longer delay than necissary.

An odd tilt of her head as the silver stallion went swooping into the air without so much as a backwards glance and the paintaloosa mare gave an odd little snort of her nostrils. He didn't seem too friendly, and she didn't quite like how he just left without a better departure, but there was nothing she could do about that now. Yes, eventually she would seek him out again. And eventually she would get to know the illusive stallion better. You can bet on that!
Her attention was caught right off the bat by Aitumn as he asked his question, her ears pricking up in interest. "I'm not sure. Do adult... things?" Whatever it was adults did. They talked, they ate, they- they... um, made foals? Gosh that didn't sound like much fun at all. Humph. Well, she wouldn't let her life slip by her that quickly, her foalhood would live on as she would continue to have fun! Yes, that was the paintaloosa's plan, one she devised just the very second. And wasn't it good?
Though that did remind her. She promised Scabbers she wouldn't stay out too late, and the poor little guy did like to worry quite a bit. Meep. It was getting a bit late now, the sky was getting dark, and he didn't like to sleep unless she was there. Yipes. "Um, Aitumn. I gotta go, its getting late and I gotta get back to Scabbers. It was nice seeing you again." Yeah, it was a downer. She did like seeing her friend, but she was sure he understood. Right?

Uh... right. He wasn't going to touch that comment with a ten foot poll, and he wasn't going to bother to explain anything. That was an ordeal reserved for Scabbers, as he was already hoping Tucker would learn on his own. That was a conversation no stallion wanted to have with their foals, or at least, this stallion didn't want to. Love sure, he could handle love, but not- that was it. Get it out of his head. Stop thinking, and just stop.
"That's alright, I should be on my way as well. Take care Mec, it was nice seeing you as well." He would hope to see her later after the whole issue with the green brute was taken care of. But for now he wasn't going to linger any longer on good-byes or hellos. He got the info. he needed, and now he needed to move it double time back to the beach to hopefully warn Cress and Rhea.
Zak had been spotted. Sanue surely wouldn't lie about that, and even if he did it would be best if they were at least prepared. With a bob of his head the stallion turned tail and went into a smooth lope up the beach, back the way he had orginally come.

Well she couldn't say she was a fan of long good-byes so the way Aitumn just took off didn't bother her too much at all. She herself was on the verge of doing so, and thusly her hooves carried her over the sands once more. It had been awhile since she'd seen her blood bay friend, and it was good to see he was looking well and healthy. At least, as far as she could tell. However on the subject of friends her mind wandered to a little Bae foal she remembered quite well. How was Jun doing? The only thing she really recalled was how he hopped around like a frog, calling it a wibbit. Mecriana shook her mane at the thought, he was cute then. Had he grown?
Oh and then there was Miss Elsie! She most awesome mare in the world, that was for sure. Mecriana still remembered the story she was told about the sand nequus, and though now she realized it was merely a story, it had still been entereatining to listen too. After all, Scabbers had to take extensive measures to explain things to her, and how stories were simply made up. It was a bit sad, but she supposed it was better than having all that magic running around.
With a soft snort, the mare spotted the dune just ahead of her, where she left her Zrun partner. Luckily for Aitumn, Sanue's comment about a favor hadn't quite struck her just yet.
