No joke. @___@ Apparently there's going to be a recount though because about 803 people who voted didn't chose anybody for president. Or something like that. confused

******** retarded. Me thinks there's a good candidate for an assignation plot wink Even though it means going all Florida, I hope for the best for Xenia.

I hope the recount fixes things, because I can't see a good future with someone like that as president. To be honest, I can't really see a good future with someone like that living and breathing, but...

*huggles*
I'm sorry to hear about this Emma. You really have to wonder why people voted for him even though he is a criminal. It can perhaps be chalked up to the wonderful political role models we have had.
CAUTION: HISTORY CONTENT
In pre-1900 Europe, it was accepted, hell expected, for kings and other figures of state to have mistresses. Many current world leaders have continued on with this tradition, some even openly. Many US presidents before Clinton had mistresses. Ladybird Johnson even wrote letters to her husband's mistresses, JFK was a notorious skirt-chaser; most notably Marilyn Munroe. While I could continue on with a well-documented rant about how this is immoral and wrong, I won't for the sanity of all involved. The main point I want to get across is that it has become acceptable in our society for men to treat women like lower class citizens and the double standard of it being manly to have multiple women is still alive and well. There have been cases of women doing the same and being labeled as 'sluts' and the like.
Our society is in a sad state indeed.
