She came back! Sekhmet came back! We could hardly believe it, but I knew she was still out there, alive and safe and she came back!
But... Her arrival has been almost completely overshadowed by riruy's sudden disappearance just a few suns later. He had everything; all of us are here now that Sekhmet's back, he had just returned with two more daughters, I can help with diplomatic matters, but... but he was acting just so strange for a sun or two before he just up and disappeared without a word. At least, not a word to me. I don't think to anyone else. I can't understand it. Everyone's hurt and confused, and I'm not sure ute knows what to do. I know she's not like other mares in the herd and was probably counting on riruy and now he's gone. I don't know what she'll do now that she has to raise Sabina and Alejandra alone. But... but she's not really alone, we're all here now, even if riruy is gone. We'll figure something out. I... I hope he comes back soon..

Well, things have continued on as.. partially normal, at any rate. I know we all miss riruy, but the herd as a whole has moved on for the time being; I know we all hope he'll come back and I'm doing my best to take his place for now. I liked it before when I knew he would be back soon ans I wouldn't have to have all that responsibility by myself, but I'll get over it and pull through.
One thing is for certain, though; Estavan wasn't joking when he said I'd need a mate. He ultimately gave me a choice between two or three decent girls, and I picked the prettiest one. Her name is Tania, a pretty blue and black coat with interesting markings. She isn't all that bright but she's not an airhead, and her desire to have everything a certain way is rather endearing. The bonding ceremony went well, and we were left alone the rest of the night. I don't know what they were expecting of us, but I've since talked to Estavan. I'm not ready for foals yet, if that's what they wanted, and I didn't think it'd be a good idea either. Ute is here with my two new sisters and riruy is gone, and I'm still not fully into my position yet. I don't think it's a wise idea to run off and have foals right now, so we're waiting for a better time for that. I'm not sure how Tania feels about that, but oh well; it's of no consequence.
I do hope riruy comes back soon...

Well. Home. Wow. I'm glad to be back here, it's a little strange but I really, really am glad. I've missed everyone so much! I have new sisters, and my tree siblings have grown up and there are so many people to talk to, to catch up with, to meet for the first time! One thing... Riruy seems a bit... a bit off. Distracted. He was so glad to see me when I fist saw him but, even part way through our conversation, he seemed to turn a bit strange. I hope he's alright...

It's been quite some time now, I've lost track of how many suns ago it was before he up and vanished, and everyone's still very worried. I talked with ute and Estavan, and figured that it'd be best if I helped look for him. The herd will be fine, it's not like I was in any really important position anyway, plus I'd really much rather have riruy back to be in charge of things instead. It's way too much responsibility for me.
Oh, of course Tania was all upset at that, huffing and stamping her hooves that I had to leave her so soon - seems she really wanted foals as soon as possible, but she'll just have to wait - and it was sort of cute to see her so upset about it. But still, it's of no consequence - I plan to leave at dawn to start looking for riruy. I hope he's found quickly, I want to get back to the herd as soon as I can.
