There are many types of elves in the Renaissance Galaxy. Erynsel, a guild member is an elf. Her kind is the type that takes on suffering.
You see, whenever there is a depressed child. One who is really, really sad due to whatever reason. An elf might appear in that child's bedroom. They listen to the problems of the child, most commonly found in the form of a blanket or a teddy bear.
Depression Elves, the kind that Erynsel is, are creatures that can change forms, but only forms that can soothe a child's broken spirit. For teenagers, this type of elf will form into a diary. For a depressed adult, this fairy will then show their true selves and request that the adult seek medical attention.
Warrior elves are protectors and hunters. There are actually two kinds of warrior elf. The protectors will go to someone's place, provided that they need a warrior elf and then using only archery tools, they will fulfill their mission. More commonly found in forests, these warrior elves often keep the trees safe from harm. The hunter type will kill without mercy and often gathers food like dinosaur meat. They are great to have if you need a lot of meat at once.
Then there are the Santa's helpers. Like Santa, these elves are jolly and they like to give. They deliver things all around the galaxy and are very friendly. Childlike in spirit, but they can do better than most waiters/waitresses when it comes to deliveries. A warrior hunter elf and a Santa's helper are commonly seen together. The hunters and the Santa's helpers are a common form of elf found on Planet Hamster.
The last two forms of elves, the evil forms of elves are the Blood elves and the Dark Elves.
Blood elves will kill for no reason at all and have a dark spirit. Having red blood for skin these creatures look scary and are to be avoided if spotted. Like the hunters and the warriors, they will attack.
Dark elves aren't sooo dangerous, but they can be if you anger them. They often use magic and their skin is either blue or purple. They tend to make potions and are experts in sorcery. These elves are also said to be able to make the most vicious of beast tame, such as a dinosaur or dragon. Dark elves are rare to find and they may be extinct.
