So I finally created an account on Pandora.com, a site that basically lets you enter an artist/song you like, and it creates "radio stations" for you based on the style of what it brings up that you can tweak as you listen. Pretty nice stuff.
However, I pulled it up this evening and clicked on my softer, sleep-inducing meditation-style music to calm myself down.... and the music that came up was called "Accompanying Guilty Thoughts of Unauthorized Candy. WTF? It wasn't happy stuff.
So I created a new station of Baroque choral music. Yay, right? The first song that comes up is, "Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary."
What the hell?!
I skip to the next song, and it's "Funeral Sentences (for the Funeral of Queen Mary)."
STOP!
The next song is actually choral and better, if a little unhappy sounding, but it's called "O Praise the Lord All ye Heathen." Yeah, not joining in on that if you're calling me names...
So, what's up with my radio tonight? stressed
EDIT: I just turned it back on, and a really pretty song came on. I looked it up, and it's called "Burial Service: I am the Resurrection." For goodness' sakes, people! Did some of these Baroque people just sit around at funerals to compose music?!
