I'm not against it. Its a personal matter and I don't think we have any right to condemn those who are gay. I understand why people use the bible as an excuse to yell at them, but really, if there was any problem at all, would not a solution arise of its own accord? Its none of our business who others love, so we shouldn't get so worked up about it.

Symbolism of number One:
"No, you don't.
If that was true, no one would ever choose to become gay or lesbian, because they would just be making their own life more difficult. Sexual orientation is not a matter of choice.

And the situations you described.... none of them can make you become gay, unless you already are. If everyone who got hurt in a relationship would turn gay, then 90% of the adult population would be gay now. "

dood....become a gay or bi it's a choose....like sad...ya choose to be sad...and happy..you choose to be happy....and all of it must have some reason, rite? No one becoming sad or happy with no reason except they r nuts/mad/crazy...ya name it...

In my words...i said was "i ever heard" rite? and that's i heard direct from people who ever becoming gay and bi....
every1 have their own chase/reason why they becoming gay/bi...and it's depend on them...they will turn to gay/bi or not....
and outside my story above....i dunno another reason y people becoming gay/bi....

that's y i said...it's my opinion... smile

Sexual orientation is not a choice. You don't choose who you're attracted to or who you fall in love with. You don't choose your emotions either, although you can influence them. Why do you think someone must be crazy to feel happy or sad? Those emotions are part of the human experience. Besides which, sexual orientation and emotion is not a very good comparison.

BUT....if we know wat the right or true....why we must do the wrong way...
God made/create 1 woman with 1 man...He never made/created 1 woman with 1 woman or 1 man with 1 man....rite? wink

That's certainly debatable. Maybe your religion says that homosexuality is "wrong," but what about people of different religions or of no religion?

"I'm really sorry about your hand"

Everyone has the right to love...regardless of sexuality. I have loads of bi friends, and I don't mind one bit! One of them told me that she fancied me once, and I was totally cool with it. She accepted that I'm not bi, and it would never happen between us, so we haven't mentioned it since. I don't mind at all. I don't get what issue people have with gay and bi people...it's just stupid.

I'm straight and I'm for gay / bi. Gay people are people like everyone, they should have the same rights that a straight person have. I live in a country where homossexuality is a sin. I'm not religious and I don't respect their ideas when the say things like gay people will burn in hell and their only confuse and its something social?! I really don't get it. Some religions are very conservative and they don't respect the human rights like they should.

I'm doing the best I can with your broken English, forgive me if I misinterpret anything.

As far as religion goes, it is, as you say, based on belief. Therefore I think it would be more appropriate to say "I believe it is wrong" rather than "it is wrong" since you are stating belief, not fact. The ideas of right and wrong are extremely varied, and to state your own beliefs as fact is to say that you believe you are somehow more informed or "better" than anyone who has different beliefs than you. (added later) Of course you believe what you believe, but to say that something is right or wrong is to say that no other way of life is acceptable. I think it's important in a world with so many walks of life to accept that your values are not necessarily the values of someone else, and that doesn't necessarily make them right or wrong, just different. "Different" is only bad if you let yourself think it is.

I think it's unfair of you to say that I'm being narrow-minded when you are the one projecting your personal beliefs onto a situation that affects people of every imaginable background, culture, and belief. I'm arguing from the perspective that not everyone has the same believes and ideals, so if either of us deserved to be called narrow-minded I'd certainly point the finger at you.

You were, I noticed, curiously silent about the scientific aspect of my argument. Do you have anything to say about it? I'm very interested to hear your perspective.

IDK why people even debate this anymore. I'm bi, so I obviously have no problem with other gays/bi.

I also agree that you cannot choose to be homosexual. It's just some innate feeling that you know what you are. Some people just take longer than others to come to terms with the bald truth: you're bi, or gay, or straight
