Mudkips are lame. A water + ground elemental typing makes it 4x weak to grass. Plus, the water type's resistance to ice is nulled. THE ********? Ice is one of the most-often used elements in the game, due to the rampaging dragon Pokemon that are all around. Which is ironic, considering that the a few of the uber dragon Pokemon (namely, Palky and Dalky) have a typing that nulls their ice weakness.
Then again, at least it gives them electric immunity. And Earthquake STAB. For Swampert, at least. But there aren't any good water physical attacks, except maybe Waterfall. But Waterfall isn't Surf. ******** again, Swampert IS one of the best starting Pokemon final evolutions. Only Infernape can probably top Swampy.
