Now i don't know any sai kata, but I am very proficient with a sai (been doing drills on and off for about 12 months now, but I've picked it up really easily). So I am trying to adapt other katas I know to put together a performance aiming for 2 minutes long.
If you don't know what a Sai is:

The criteria is:
- entertaining
- degree of difficulty
- execution
- theatrical
- directional changes
- variation of speed
- time
- multiple combonations
- high risk techniques
- the usual: stance, power etc
With high risk techniques, that includes acrobatics. Now I can do a little such as roundoffs, handstands, splits and other basic stuff. Nothing very impressive though and it makes it harder because of the way the sai are held - if I hold the sai how I'm meant to (for a strike with the handle), I could would snap my thumb completely.
Otherwise, I can look more at jump kicks and spins and also throwing/juggling the sai (which I can do with my right hand, struggle with the left).
Is there anyone out there who has done a creative sai kata before that can assist me. Even someone who could give me some ideas, tips or tricks, even websites etc that could be useful. There is very little on youtube and even less on google.
So I'm looking for help because I have some ideas that I can use and have the first 20 seconds worked out, it's just the rest.
