Well I'm not sure about the people who have the PC/ps3 version but.. Apparently on the 360 version dropping a paint brush will make it freeze in the air. This can be used to make a stairway-to-heaven. If you climb on to the temple in the Imperial City you can get access to a door to the last area. Thus giving you the quest & so on.

I use the paint brush glitch, and I play on the 360. I should try this! surprised

Paintbrush glitch works on the PC too. I never tried the climbing-the-tower thing, does it work? I've beat the main quest and I don't remember anything on top of the temple either >.>

It is for when you get on the top you fall through the roof. and when that happens by the door to enter the temple there will be a door sticking out of the ground open it and the first thing you see is dagoth ur. Also they proabaly fixed the roof in the pc version because of all the crazy stuff the pc version can do.

This happens ONLY in the console version where it is impossible to get on top of the roof otherwise

Dagoth Ur? ... >.>

He's not in Oblivion. That was Morrowind.

Why bother with the paint brush glitch? It's way more fun to play the game out itself. If you exploit a glitch to get to the end, it just takes away all the fun of the game. Why even bother playing the game if you're going to cheat to finish it? stare

I already did that part of the storyline, but I should use it in order to get on top of the Emperor's Tower (If that's what it's called, the big tower that you can see all from Cyrodill.)

I second that DD:
why even buy the game if your just going to use cheats the whole time.

White Gold Tower or the Imperial Palace, both names work but if you are referring to the time before the empire then you have to say white gold tower.

If you get on top of the Temple of the One using the paintbrush trick, yes you can drop down into it, you'll see a door halfway into the ground (not the door on the wall!), go to open that door in the ground and you'll be put outside the temple of the one, with Dagon in front of you and Martin in his robe he was wearing in Kvatch. Useless period, but even more so on the 360 version if you haven't gotten all achievements yet >.> I know a few people who just rented this game to try this. Doing this takes away from the fun and adventure of Oblivion. Ugh.. some people...
