A wide street near the outside of town had been abandoned, the houses nearby boarded up, getting in wasn't going to be easy. Several trashed cars had been left behind. No alleys were present in the area, the buildings were crammed so close together as to prevent it. There was no one around for miles except for two. Soon to be one.

:::The smile from Rina's face was gone. This was business... she wasn't gonna let this guy go for what he had done...he was gonna pay. She removed her glasses, and slipped them into the pockets of her baggy jeans. Taking a brief moment to consider, she realized that the jeans themselves would be in her way.
Thank god I wore underwear today. She thought, unbuckling her belt, and slipping the jeans off:::

((x.x thats...like...ultimate pwnage right off the bat.))
Kirby's rifle was strapped to his back with his sidearm holstered at his side and Bluey hanging on the opposide side. Several items were clipped to Kirby's belt, all military issue items, whether they be grenades, pouches of ammo magazines, or other miscellaneous items. His eyes traced over her body as she slipped the jeans off, a dirty trick to start off what should have otherwise been an honorable death. He scanned the area to check for proper cover, eyes falling over the boarded up buildings, most of which only had a few boards over the fully intact doors.

:::She noticed him observing his surroundings and took note of what he was looking at. The man seemed heavily armed.
Afraid of lil' ol' me...?
But being the case, she'd have to know where to go for cover if he started chucking stuff at her. She needed to be close enough to him so that he at least wouldn't throw the grenades.
Rina took a few slow steps in his direction...watching his hands closely:::

Slowly his crowbar Bluey slid from the sling at his side, slipping into and between his hands in fluid motions that showed he had favored such a weapon for some time. Despite the name Bluey, the crowbar was stained a blood red, one guess why. At her slow approach he began to take steps as well, his own taking him back and towards one of the closer buildings.

:::She saw him approach a building. Rina thought this was a mistake on his part. He's be giving her some nice angles for hiding behand cars and pillars, not to mention halfing his range from 360 to 180. If he was going to use the crowbar to pry open or beat a way into a building, it would give her a nice clean view of his side, or his back. She kept her eyes on his hands, and followed the path to him in a straight line, speeding her step:::

Kirby continued backing up, his eyes still trailing around the battlefield, noting a building that seemed suitable. A door woth only a few wodden constraints and seemingly intact structure. The windows were totally boarded up and it appeared that no light would be entering the structure aside from the front door if pried open. Perfect. His pace began to pick up as Bluey shifted to his left hand and he unholstered his side arm to take aim at Rine. If anything near a shot was to be found, a shot would be taken.

:::The second Rina witnessed his hand moving off the crobar, she knew what he was reaching for. He was gonna make her run for cover so he'd have time to take down the door to this abandoned building. Her feet began to plant themselves quickly one after the other, running to duck behind the nearest car in the direction of the building, before the first shot was fired:::

The sound of cracking and splintering could be heard as Bluey was put to the test. Sure, he could beat the s**t out of people, but prying wood, that was new. Between Kirby's strength and the shoddily nailed boards, the door would be open in no time. The crowbar had shifted to his right hand and the 9mm was holstered once again with a new object entering his left hand, a smoke grenade.

:::Rina peered to the side of the car to get a look at what he was doing. The sound indicated that he was hacking away at the door, and she was right... It would take him a minute to do it one handed...because in the other hand was...:::
s**t!
But at least it wasn't a gun. She got out from behind the car and ran as fast as she could in his direction, keeping her eye not on the grenade...he'd be getting rid of that shortly she assumed, and but at the crowbar that was hacking through wood...and looked like it preferd people:::

The sound of an approaching Rina came to Kirby's ears and the smoke grenade was quickly released, dropped simply to the ground with a smirk in her direction. With all his force and weight he'd force off the last of the wooden barriers and throw his weight against the door with Bluey forcing into the doorframe to ******** over any locks and basically bust the door open. As he dove in his eyes scanned the room, a staircase heading up directly in front of him and a room off to the right, a hall further back. The house, for thats what it was, seemed devoid of furniture, not a plus at all. Upstairs it was, and off in a dash he went, a flashbang replacing the hand in which the smoke grenade had been released from.

:::The second he dropped it so close to both of them, Rina realized that it wasn't an explosive:::
s**t!
:::She yelled outloud this time, she watched him break through the door just before the flash went off releasing bursts of smoke. She tried not to breathe as she ran after him, but as she got to the doorway, she stopped and stood in some of the smoke that made it into the building.
He'd have his guns now, and she stayed in the lingering smoke, her hand over her mouth, trying to hold on... her eyes were tearing up, and she didn't have long to think, She couldn't see a damned thing. All she knew was it got dark up ahead...and if he couldn't see her, then he'd have a damned hard time shooting her.
Finally she ran through the smoke and straight ahead, trying to gauge her surroundings on the go. Incase he intended to fire right away. She realized it just in time that directly in front of her were stairs. Her eyes began to dry and she stiffled a few left over coughs, as though the footsteps and creaking floor weren't loud enough. But it was to her advantage too. She stopped against the railing of the stair... trying to listen.

Kirby waited at the top of the stairs in darkness, the only thing to warn her of the incoming Flashbang 'nade was the nearly silent pull of the pin and the rustle of cloth as he turned halfway to throw it down the stairs, trying to time it right so there'd be little time for Rina to react. Once the grenade was finished with it's purpose Kirby wwould turn from 'round the corner, bringing his FN up under his shoulder and open fire in a spray down the stairs. There was light from the doorway down there, but nothing above. Fun.

:::Rina hears the thud of a small object nearby. She doesn''t need to think twice. She hops over the banister, and lands ungracefully, but still on her feet. The impact of the short fall takes a split second to recover from, and she''s running back towards the door. Then suddenly the giant bang and crazy light knocks Rina to the floor. Luckily she was running towards the door, as fast as she could. The bang had seariously messed up her head, but she was looking away, and after a moment, she knew she could still see. She got to her feet, and followed the smell of lingering smoke to the door, and she could see through pained watering eyes the outline of a bright door. WHen she was outside, she clutched her head...::: Mother ******** yelling just hurt her head some more. She gave herself a moment to breathe, and to let her eyes focus again. Her head ached, but she knew she couldn''t get back into the building while he had so many projectiles... Torment The windows were totally boarded up and it appeared that no light would be entering the structure aside from the front door if pried open. Perfect. This mother ******** is going to burn.:::She decided she''d recovered enough, and she ran to the nearest vehicle. It''s windows were smashed in, so she reached in and open the door. She popped the drunk, and to her delight, there was indeed a spare couple gallons of gasoline in the trunk... enough to have some fun at least, and maybe force the rat to come to her. She poured a little trail from the car''s trunk down to the ground and up towards the smokey door. She splashed it into the doorway onto the floor of the room, and the walls from the inside as best she could without entering, then she chucked the remaining drops along with the canister all the way in. Rina returned to her pants, where she fished out a pack of smokes, and a lighter, as well as her glasses. She could use the shade now. She walked to the car, lit the cigarette, flicked some ashes into the trunk, and walked away as they blazed. As she walked off a good way she wondered if she''d really gotten enough gas around the open fuel tank for the trail to blow up the car too... ...that would be fun.The cigarette helped the throbbing head pain a little bit too...
