What are some of the books you find yourself picking up again after a bit of time to reread? Do you find that you notice more of the story as a result of picking it up again, or do you merely pay attention to re-familiarizing yourself with one of your favorite stories? Does it matter if the book is an excellent work of fiction/non-fiction, or do you just like some stories regardless of whether or not it's well-written?
I find myself re-reading the thicker novels I have. Ex:HP series, Inheritancy series (the one about dragon riders), the twilight series, etc. It's mostly series that I reread. I do find that I discver details I skimmed over in my inital frenzy of tryin to read it all. My opinion of a book's excellency, is the same as my thing for movies. They are just good. I like them regardless of how well they are written. Sometimes, I missed the gramatic errors my first read through and I tend to catch them in the second, third, fourth, etc., read. The only thing that kind of gets to me is when the author doesn't "finish" the book. Like, they end it in clues and assumptions. Like, they assume you know they get married and live happily-ever after.
