Kaspar grinned; so Anatu knew what he was talking about. However, he was not sure what else to say, so he drifted back to the remainder of his sandwich.

Anatu's tail flicked as he purred quietly, content. He was almost done with his sandwich, as he ate at it and as soon as he was done with his he polished off his juice.
He let the silence linger finding it was common when people were eating... Finally done, he pushed his chair out and took his stuff to the sink, rinsing it before putting them in a the dishwasher.

Kaspar finished about the same time and followed him to put his dishes away, pushing in his chair as he did. That finished, the angel began to feel a more uncomfortable. He was in a stranger's house late at night, and that kind of scenario was fairly new to him, alien if one did not throw in an extra family member visiting a friend he had never met. "It's getting late... I should probably go... Thanks, for the sandwich, it was nice..."

The tiger's ears perked as the other said he should go. Glancing to find the clock he saw it was indeed getting late and he, himself, should be getting to bed for an early morning... "Oh, look it that... It is. I have to get up early too..." He made a small face as he said it. Once he was awake it was okay, it was the getting up to be awake that was the hard part. Looking at Kaspar he smiled, "Thanks for driving me home ~" He made move towards the door so he could escort his guest out. It wasnt rushed, he just happened to be going the same way too.

"Yeah..." Long fingers slid through blonde ringlets at the back of his head as Kaspar grinned sheepishly and followed Anatu's glance toward the clock. He was not sure what the tiger's expression was for - probably the getting up early, not for it being so late. Either way, his presence was keeping him up. Following Anatu to the door, he replied, "You're welcome. Sorry for keeping you so long..."

Anatu purred and smiled kindly. "No problem. It was nice having company." Opening the door, he leaned on it slightly. "I hope to see you again at the bakery someday. Drive safe."

"Sure, thanks..." Kaspar found himself standing on the doorstep uncomfortably unfamiliar with good-byes. So he kept it short and was quick to retreat. "Well, good night."
When he got to the car, he felt great relief. He liked Anatu, but it was nice to be alone again. Next time, he told himself, he wouldn't stay. It was just too complicated.

Anatu shut the door and leaned against with a small sigh. Long day really. It was time for bed for him. Stifling a yawn he straightened himself and started for his room. He really had liked the company though he felt that it seemed that Kaspar really just needed to... relax. Giving a small shrug he changed into something more comfy, once in his room, before crawling into bed and just melting into the mattress, curling up with the blankets.
