Does anyone online have a ps3 and Windows Vista and not using a router??
Im using a computer with 2 Ethernet ports so one can only assume i have a build in router but Vista wont pick up the ps3 and when Im downstairs on the Sony it cannot find pick up the IP address (Im using a 100 foot ethernet cord so I figure thats the problem in the end but can someone that had the same problem helppppppp please I would love to play online someday soon.

that almost sounds like a firewall setting or something like that
what all exactly have you done to try to get your PS3 online???
