The queen found all of this to be quite fascinating and jotted down notes as the boy spoke. When he had finished, she explained that her own mother had had a rather Ty'Mish approach to love, each one short-lived, but passionate while it had lasted. She, however, believed that each person had one soul calling out for him, and that, once united, such love could never die. She was certain she was embarrassing herself before a young soldier who had no need for such ideas, but he had done his bit of sharing, and it would be rude not to do the same.

Jasamu nodded along, listening to his queen. She was almost like a true person! She had thoughts and feelings just like normal people. He found her ideas somewhat far-fetched, but he would never say so. It was his duty to protect her, after all, and there were just some things a man should never say.

"So, wottaya got in mind fer'er? Standert kid nappin'? Buddy up ta 'er? Wot?" While she and Dorian had been in contact, he had been unable to really plan things as the other man could not read and Grim did not trust Leonid to tell the whole of what she wrote.

“I'd love to see you 'buddy up' to a queen, my dear Grim, I really would. But no, you'll wait on our signal and you'll come in and take her. Rough up others if you have to, but no deaths. I wouldn't want to piss the little Tinni-dear off. She has quite a temper.” Dorian rubbed his face, trying to get the grime off. He felt dirty and wanted to be done with this as quickly as possible. Tinuviel had upset him more than he could put words to. For some reason now he hated using her like this even more.
