There was another tiny smile, and a whispered, "I know." Deep inside, she did know, and that managed to dispell a bit of the darkness that was threatening to eat her soul. Eyes fluttering shut, Tera let sleep take her, a good deep slumber that would be free of any past haunts. After all, that's what night was for.
