Well I the writing forum is a little crowded and overly emo for me, and you all are usually happy enough to give honest reflection on everything, so here's three poems I've written recently. Also feel free to post in poetry you've done, I'd love to read some too.

This one was done back on Valentines day.

Elm Tre for my Valentine

To my dear friend Emily, the one I know as Elm Tre,
I know we haven't known each other too long,
But I'm over joyed that you befriended me,
I hope you enjoy this poem instead of some awkward song,
Rhyming isn't too easy for me, unfortunately,
I hope I don't mumble and let my words come out wrong,

But in this wonderful and great college time,
I've decided I'd like to ask you to be my Valentine?

Wrote this one up yesterday, maybe I'll give it to her St. Patty's day.

The Edge of Earth

I kept walking, just to see a glimpse of your eyes;
I kept standing, to prove it wasn't all lies;
I kept wandering, to show all of my passion;
I kept loving, most would say it's a foolish action.

I wanted to tell you the second I met you;
I loved to be around you, the fun of us two;
I can't explain why I feel what I feel;
I can promise you though that every word is real.

I'd walk to the edge of time for you.
I'd climb the highest mountain for you.
I'd cross the greatest ocean for you.
Again and again, to the edge of the earth for you.

This one was just written on a whim, too emo to actually care about using.

Point out the Bad

Take the blame;
Racked with pain;
I deserve it;
It's never of unheard of.

Touch my heart;
Touch my soul;
You left my love whole;
Just looking for that missing part.

I'll point out the bad;
It's inevitable I'm sad;
but you're voice is there in the night;
my one final light.
